Hi Frank, I've had this issue with my business email, unfortunately it's google being google. All my business emails are sent from a fully authenticated (DKIM, SPF and DMARC) professional anti spam

In Settings, the Group Description field is an html editor. I believe it is the same editor used for wiki entries; and within limits, you can insert quite a few html constructs here, including images.
