So a group that I moderate is receiving a lot of @qq spam. Not only are there frequent requests for memberships from @qq addresses that I have to turn down, the Activity log is also becoming useless

I'm not sure what an ad letter is, but I suspect you have a problem with your subscription settings. It sounds like you are somehow receiving calendar reminders but have regular group email delivery

Scotty, You appear to be correct.? The Wiki info is rubbish in this case. This is how to do it: 1. Select "Account" from the top right after logging in. 2. Select "Login" from the column on the left.

If your Spam Control setting has the Restricted button checked, the Pending Subscription member notice will automatically be sent when someone applies to join the group. It is sent from the +owner
