Re: Rejecting too large attachments #images #files #issue #photos #suggestion
This option has been requested before (see?https://beta.groups.io/g/main/topic/6374099#15232?). It hasn't been brought up in awhile, but with that massive photo attachment that Mark had to address,

Re: Mail not being delivered
That is what I thought it to be too. Bur I received my copy in my personal email right away though because I BCC'd myself. So I am thinking the delay was getting it over to Groups IO I am waiting for

Re: Mail not being delivered
Ilene, As I read it the 3 hour delay was detected at the receipt by Google. Which may mean that IncrediMail (or your email application) took that long to send it on to Google. Or it could mean that

Re: CC filed being filled in automatically
Well I did get an answer from one of the members I wrote to. She doesn't use Incredimail and her address is AOL How does my email show up. I have gmail but I use Incredimail. Here are her answers

Re: CC filed being filled in automatically
Ilene, That's Groups.io's work-around for "the DMARC problem" at work. If IncrediMail has a way to show you the full from address (including the email address, not just the display name) you'll find

Re: [email protected] not working for me
Janie, I read elsewhere that your invitation has been accepted; so finally good news. But to address your question: Near the beginning of the month I asked Mark Fletcher (who runs Groups.io) about

Re: CC filed being filled in automatically
All of the groups are REPLY TO SENDER I wrote a whole bunch of emails to the AOL and Yahoo email users and asked the questions you wanted to know. Another thing I did notice was Via Groups IO gets

Re: Rejecting too large attachments #images #files #issue #photos #suggestion
Moderation is not practical. It just slows down everything. We want to let people freely exchange attachments as long as attachments as those are usualz documents that are supposed to be sent to all

Re: Rejecting too large attachments #images #files #issue #photos #suggestion
In your group settings, you could set the Attachments option under Message Formatting to Moderated.? Then you could see how large they are before approving them. On my groups, I set the Default Sub

Re: integration with Cozi calendar
Paige, I haven't used Cozi, but I did test subscribing my groups calendar from my Gmail calendar. I was puzzled by some missing events but found that they appeared later. It seems that Gmail waits

Re: Impossible Addresses on Replies to an Email List
Sharon, Yup. That's a problem with how Yahoo Groups handled the DMARC problem Yahoo Mail and AOL created. Groups.io does it right (keeps the actual email address unique per member). I think your email

Re: Rejecting too large attachments #images #files #issue #photos #suggestion
When You set limit on incoming mail, that means message would be bounced and sender would be informed that his message is too large (that actually happens on each classical mail server, when someone

Re: Rejecting too large attachments #images #files #issue #photos #suggestion
Mark posted this on Beta just a few minutes ago: Hi All, Earlier this morning, someone sent a massive 55mb 43k x 21k image through the system (the group was not set to resize images in emails), and it

Re: CC filed being filled in automatically
I know my groups the reply is set to the sender. The other groups I am in I will have to check to see if that is the case. It can easily be done. They are ALL NEW messages and not a reply or forward.

Re: Rejecting too large attachments #images #files #issue #photos #suggestion
Pedja, The first question I wonder about is why you want to limit this at the group level? Each member has a control in their subscription page (advanced section) that allows that member to set a size

Rejecting too large attachments #images #files #issue #photos #suggestion
I had issue that one user sent via group message containing large number of photos attached. That was of course relayed to all member of the group. After I reported that issue I was instructed that

Re: CC filed being filled in automatically
Ilene, Interesting. So far the scenario is a group that has Reply To set to Subscriber, and a new message (not reply) posted by email from a Yahoo Mail or AOL address. Is that right? Can you find out

Re: posting?
Both are easy to do here. Once you've logged in and gone to one of your groups (or subgroups), there will be a New Topic tab on the left menu.? You can use that to start a new thread.? If you need

Among the reasons we fled Yahoo was the fact that Bruce Bowman mentioned, Yahoo's invitation system was notoriously unreliable and untrackable. We also got fed up with those periods of no messages at
