Yes,?at least one of the 4 choices must be checked.? If you do not want New Users Moderated, then you must check one of the other 3 choices.

I have a few blind members that would like to not receive New Subscriber Notifications in their messages. Is there a way for me as the admin to do this or is this something they can do themselves using their screenreaders?

Yes, the original address should still work, as well as the new one, (initially) [email protected]

Using the original link will take them to the main group home page.

At that point, all you can do is wait.? The delay on accepting invitations has been as long as 4 weeks, depending on many conditions and considerations.

I have a private group, discoveryowners.
If I create a subgroup....
If someone sends an email to post a message to [email protected],?will it still get posted to the main group?
Could they still directly access the main group at /g/discoveryowners?

I am trying to cover all the bases for changes required of any existing members when a subgroup is created.

I have the same problem and I have followed the instructions for two groups. ?It has been 48 hours and the only message I have is that the invite has been received by groups.io ?Came here because I am fed up with yahoogroups. ?I really hope it will be better.

I'd say you were correct, but incomplete.

When the group was transferred from Yahoo, each person had an account created for them that is their email address.? (The exception would be anyone that previously used that email address to open an account here.? In that case, they were added to your group.)? They can change their message delivery via email using the addresses as shown at /static/help#emailcommands.

If they'd like to use the group online, they could use the information at /g/GroupManagersForum/wiki/How-to-Set-a-Personal-Password-and-Profile%3B-Changing-Email-Address to check it out.? Note that they never need to set a password if they don't want to, they can just use the "Email me a link to log in" when they want to access the group online.? Once they've logged in, they will stay logged in for 30 days on each device unless they intentionally log out.? The links I gave are to publicly viewable pages, so you can include them in emails when answering questions.

Having an account here is so much easier than Y! that it often confuses people! ;>)

Basically, a friend sends emails to lots of addresses from constant contact. I will ask them what they get if try to add the above .io to their constant contact.

Just on board with Groups.io from YahooGroups. A couple of what might seem like obvious questions, at least based on years at YahooGroups, but I wanted to double check.

Can y'all can read what I was asked -- and how I answered -- and tell me if I was correct?

It looks to me like it's included in the price for Enterprise groups, which is where it's available.? According to the Pricing page, you'd have a fully customizable home page.? It doesn't say anything about other pages.

Using my own domain seems pretty simple after reading about it in the help section. Is it really as easy as changing my DNS and letting groups.io know to 'flip the switch'? Is there a fee??

If I do use groups.io with my own domain how much can I customize the page design? Are there any examples to point me to where this is being done?
