Understood. I only need it for one group at the moment.

Thanks again,

You can if you upgrade your group to the Premium plan. Premium (and Enterprise) groups have a Direct Add page.
/static/pricing
If you click the Upgrade button in the Admin set of pages that will show you the plan you're on. Click the View/Change Plan button to see what your options are. I've used the Group Transfer (Premium For One Month) plan in my PTA group to handle the influx of members every year at school registration.

Can I transfer a Yahoo Group I don't own or moderate?

Also a good point.? And from what I hear, Yahoo is going downhill on a very fast bobsled.

I see your point.

But if he named the IO group the same as the Yahoo group they may move there and a whole step could be skipped.

He could also start over to get new members - and advertise his "new" group on the many ads letters that go out. I know 3 or 4 of them. Ilene

?find the administrative pages at that time.
You will be in the Settings part of the Admin section if you can go to:
/g/<GroupName>/settings (replace <GroupName> with your group's name)

I think, I have found what needs done.

I just haven¡¯t exactly figured out how or I should say where to go and fix it.

I think what is happening is that she is subscribed to the list via one address and replying with another.

I¡¯m going to get to the bottom of this issue.

Right now though I¡¯m consumed with the workmen swarming all over the street and into my yard fixing a major water break.

As to the address I began with, it is the address I am using now.

Thanks for all your help.

And.

No worries about positions. I¡¯ll figure it all.

I hope?

As far as lists are concerned, one possibility is that the OP hits
"reply all", but sees only the sender, so manually adds the name of the
list.

The other possibility is that instead going to the list, it went to the
sender, and that email address bounced.

If she wants to use two email addresses to post to the list, it's better for her to set up one as an alias.

Once you figure out which address is actually subscribed, have her log in (see /static/help#password), find the group online, and click on the Account menu at upper right. Scroll down and click on the bar labeled Advanced Settings for Email Aliases. Enter the second email address in the box and click on Add Email Alias.

This will allow her to POST from that secondary email address without any problems. All group email will still ARRIVE at the subscribed address, however.

You could also ask her to send another message to the list and to CC: you on

Ask her to send you a copy of the bounce message she receives. That should
be easy for her to do since for every message she sends to the group she
gets one.

You could also ask her to send another message to the list and to CC: you on
it at the same time. In the copy you receive, look at the address she's
sending from and see if it's the address she was using when posting worked
for her. She could have registered another address you don't know about, but
this is a good first step toward eliminating sending from the wrong address
as a cause.

?,

I have a group member who is receiving messages but when she replies to the list the message bounces back to her.

?Have a look in the group's Activity page, in the Message Activity tab. There you should see some entries containing the phrase attempted to send message - those would be instances where the message was bounced back to the member. The remainder of the text of the entry will tell you why.

One of the more common cases is Non-member [address] attempted to send...? That usually happens when a member is subscribed with one email address, but attempted to post using a different one.
?
I don¡¯t have a copy of her error message.

?It should be roughly the same as what you find in the activity log, but worded differently.
