Re: Can Members view their own Activity
¿ªÔÆÌåÓýOK, fair enough. I habitually have the website open at </groups>, where I see all my groups listed, so I can easily see if any need any action such as approvals. I suppose some might be a member of only one group.Otto

Ahem!! Note:?If a member does not have?RI?next to their email address, they are not subject to reverification and they do not need to do anything. (-emphasis added) |

Re: Can I remove a member with out the member knowing?
We always let a member know if, because of their behavior, we're going to put them on moderation, remove them, or ban them. We've had to ban two subscribers, and we've put a few on temporary moderation, and a couple on permanent moderation. It's standard practice for us to give them specifics on why we've done it.

RS means reverification successful.

Doesn't RS mean they have successfully reverified? RI is the flag that means they still need to do so.

Re: Can Members view their own Activity
It is not at each individual group, e.g. Group Managers Forum which is where I intuitively looked for it (for a Member to see their Activity in a specific group) /g/GroupManagersForum It is ONLY at:? /activity which is only found at: /groups Here a Member's Activity in all their Groups are mixed together, without the ability to sort/filter by Group. -Michael On Apr 24, 2024, at 4:23 AM, Bruce Bowman <bowman46118@...> wrote: |

Re: How to globally remove photos/files from messages
Jack, I may be incorrect about this, but regular members cannot move photos from the email attachments file to their/the group's photo album(s). That can only be done by the owner.?
As Duane stated, all of us who routinely work with groups that maintain a significant photo presence would love to be able to do bulk removal of photos. Maybe someday...As for now, I am looking forward to the imminent unveiling of the new IO interface/portal design. Let's see what that has to offer. -- Pat P |

¿ªÔÆÌåÓýOh yeah, that's right. So you would have to disable that first, and then re-enable it after you remove them.

There is a setting for allowing members to edit their own messages.

Can Members view their own Activity
Is there a way for Member to view their own Activity?
Some Members post 'on the fly' only to delete and repost the same, but modified message(s). It might be useful if they could view their Activity when asking Members to instead proofread their messages before posting, deleting, and re-posting, etc. Thanks, Michael |
