If you mean you want to know how often people go to the website, I can only speak for basic and premium groups, where the answer would be no.

Jack -- As I told you earlier (?/g/GroupManagersForum/topic/89597594#40722?), creating a wiki index via a screen reader will likely be a challenge.

There are no tools within the web interface to facilitate it. Tony's suggestion is...at best...a hack.

Re: How do I post a link on my wiki, to another page within the same wiki? any help pages? #wikispaces

Steven

Here's an example -- a work in progress (index/ToC) but I think this is what you want to do....

/g/Catalina30/wiki

After I've created a Wiki page I just copy the link to that page and past it onto the ¡°home¡± wiki page. ?Using the normal link tools I can edit how the link will open, what text appears, etc.?

Another way it could be done is to paste the link to each wiki page as a ¡°heading 1, heading 2,.... format and use the table of contents function to insert a ToC at the top of the page. ? The ToC would jump down to the entry (link) and then one just clicks the link to go to the particular page.?
This might seem redundant but once we have enough wiki content entered to warrant organizing them into a tree structure?by main topics?(like chapters of a book) the ToC function will easily show things by that structure w/o us paging through the entire main page. Below each link on the Main page we might have a line or paragraph or keywords describing what's on the page before we jump to it.?

It doesn't sound very accessible. I mean, it doesn't sound as if a blind person could do this via a screen reader and keyboard shortcuts.

Do a controlC to copy. Paste into a text list.

Hallo Steven,
Yes you can. ?
?It is not fresh in my mind how I did this because it was a while ago.
I'm on a previously advantaged free group.

In the Wiki? 'home' page I made a list of clickable links to other wiki pages. Like a Table of Contents, TOC. Also in each page I could put navigation links to other pages.

Each page has a groups.io id such as 21846.
The html on my main wiki page looks like this:
<p>This is the Wiki Home page</p>
<ul>
<li><a href="/g/mylist/wiki/21738" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">About Mylist.groups.io</a></li>
<li><a href="/g/mylist/wiki/21846" rel="nofollow">Rules</a></li>
etc.

On a wikipage you get to the html by 'EditPage',? Click hamburger = on the right of the menu, to show Advanced Toolbar, then Click the <> to show Source code.

On each wiki page is a 'Pages' button which gives a list of wikipages which are actual links (built in TOC). You can get the url of each page by inspection or by copying the link as above. From memory, I couldn't find a slick way of getting a list of those links ; had to copy each by hand into a text list.

Hope this helps and am happy to answer questions,
OK,
Tony

It works just like Groups.io's posting page. Use the hamburger menu to see the rest of the tools.?

First of all, there is some help here:

Screen tip for owner/mods

While I was looking for some information on something totally unrelated, I stumbled across some information that might be useful for owners and mods of groups.? (Even members may find it interesting.)

In Firefox, while viewing a page (here or elsewhere) you can hit Ctrl+Shift+m to get a 'responsive design mode' page.? It will let you see what those on smaller screens are seeing.? There are lots of options you can change if you want.? I'm always on my computer, so sometimes have to remember what a tablet/phone user will see.? This should make it much easier to jog my memory.? (I plan to use it when I redo my web site for responsive mode.)? Additional information at

That got me to thinking about other browsers.? I think I've found information for Chrome and Safari users, but haven't verified any of it.? Please chip in with any tips or additions if you find that they work for you.

Re: How do I mass delete group photos over a certain age

Rick N,
Just to clarify, Admin > Update only shows under the main group and only for the content of the main group. As Diane says, for a Legacy Basic subgroup, go under Admin > Usage. There you'll be able to "View Attachments", order them by size and delete the largest ones. You can also look under the photos of main and subgroups where you'll find an album folder of "Emailed Photos". I find that often these are just logos in the footer of messages forwarded by members. They are not very large but they can be deleted. For the other photos in attachment worth saving, it will be a painstaking task but you might want to create separate albums in some categories meaningful for your group. Once that's done, if you regularly save the photos worth keeping into albums, you can safely delete the ones under "Emailed Photos".
Good luck,

Re: How do I mass delete group photos over a certain age

I do understand family history. ?In my group of quilters members are encouraged to create their own personal albums to share pictures on a permanent basis¡they have full control. ?The three temporary albums are ones I control and clean out every 7 days. ?The members are fully aware of their temporary status and find they suit the purposes for which they were created and used.

Janice,

Family history is a very different matter. You of Utah of all places, would know the value of it

I find these a bit annoying but we still get duplicates in replies to an
original post that had an attachment in one of my groups. I go in about every 6
months, find those, and delete the duplicates.

It would be great if there was a utility to allow you to check all the pictures
you want deleted then click delete instead of a long routine you must follow and
do it for each picture.

I do mention to the group to delete the attachments when replying and it works,
for a little while.

For those who have some sort of a picture attachment that's part of their
signature, I deal with that directly with the member in a friendly manner and
they fix that.
