Why did I get a bounce message that listed a long list of groups I was bouncing on (including my own)? The issue is first that only half of them are groups I belong to. The rest are groups I no longer belong to or have NEVER belonged to and secondly I've been receiving messages from the groups I belong to all day without noticing any interruption.

After "unbouncing" myself, I am sending a message to my own group to see if anyone else has received a similar message.

Hi, It had nothing to do with migration from Y! to Groups.IO, but rather, something going on from Gmail side. Mark is unbouncing Gmail address users at the moment, which will take hours (paraphrasing his post on Beta group). Cheers, Joseph ?

I have been bouncing (and re-setting each time) constantly all day. Non-GroupsIO messages are coming through with no issue. I can't even approve messages in the group...I'll approve one, then my account is set back to bouncing, and I have to re-set it again before I can approve the next one.
?
Any ideas? I'm not a member/owner of that many groups, and only this one gets any significant traffic.

There appears to be a problem outside the groups.io scene at the moment where perfectly good gmail addresses are bouncing because the gmail server says they do not exist. ? Hopefully the second Google problem in two days will be speedily resolved. ? describes the first outage, which seems to have been self-inflicted rather than the result of malicious outside actors. ? I have now literally unbounced myself 3 times within 5 minutes and no doubt will be bouncing again as soon as I hit the ?send¡° button. ?What a nightmare.
