Re: Funny...
This would probably be a job for [email protected]? I'd include as many details as possible, including the email address that's getting the digest and the accounts you have set up here.

Funny...
I was subscribed to the Yahoo group TekScopes. When they transferred the group to groups.io I continued to receive the messages in Digest format, which is what I did choose. So far so good. But if I click on the first row of the Digest page, where it says :
"This is a digest for [email protected]. Change your subscription" with the intent to modify my subscription, groups.io tells me that I am not subscribed to that group... I am registered with two different userid to groups.io, but no matter which one I use to login, the message does not change... I am not a subscriber of the group... Is there a plausible explanation? Thanks. |
Re: Photos - moving them and the ownership question
Matty Smith
I can see the facuility to add comments to photos was noted and was put on the Trello back in 2016.
Has any further decisions been made about it?? In our review of Groups.io as a possible alternative to Yahoo!, this facility has been highlighted as missing. Thank you Matty? |
Re: Calendar Default Time Zone
No answer but see this discussion. The suggestion was asking Mark in Beta to add time zone to the group settings page.?

Calendar Default Time Zone
¿ªÔÆÌåÓýI have tried to find out how to set a default
time zone for all members of a group. We have created a group
that we expect to upgrade to PRO as soon as we can solve this
problem. We will be adding about 400 users in a bulk add and
many are not computer literate (senior citizens). Asking each
person to change their time zone at the bottom the calendar page
is not an option. Is there a solution at this time? |
Re: Group Header Photo
I saw an owner banner earlier at the top of the page but at your suggestion I toggled to the other choices and back knowing that my first setting made me an administrator.? Since the admin option wasn't there I moved on to other chores.? It's been awhile since I sent this and when I signed back in the admin option was visible!? I'm not sure why it disappeared but I was entering data to my Test reminders were just starting to be sent from the Calendar and that might have triggered the reappearance of the admin option.? ?Thanks bigly for your help.

Re: Email addresses contained within messages
I see such email addresses do appear in my email client, and that will do, so

I've answered my own question. I haven't forgotten the reason for munging them on the web site, so I don't want to change it. Jim On 26 Dec 2017 at 22:42, Jim Fisher wrote:

¿ªÔÆÌåÓýahhh, now i found it, i think ¨C it is the ¡°goodbye¡± message template?¡perfect, thanks! ? From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of J_Catlady ? Ok, here's the deal. You can't customize that message. But you *can* create a customized "left group" message which goes out after they confirm, via the message that you posted, that they do want to leave. |
Email addresses contained within messages
I remember there was some discussion of this some time ago on Beta, but I don't
remember the result. I have just created a new group on which it will be highly desirable for moderators to view the whole of email addresses contained within the text of messages received. How can we do this please? Jim Fisher -- - My thoughts on freedom (needs updating) - political snippets, especially economic policy - misc. snippets, some political, some not Forget Google! my group has a long name
¿ªÔÆÌåÓýhowever in yahoogroups, i was able to set the way that the subject line name of my group appeared¡in this way, people can view the real subject, rather than only the group name ? example: group name is? RichmondHillAnnouncements but in the group emails, the subject line reads (RHAnnounce) ? Is there such a setting in IO?? Thanks! ? Ruthie Levi ? |
