As you suggest, it's probably easiest to just change the setting for images you want to post to Groups.io. However, HEIC appears to be the highest resolution image that Apple provides, so for archiving photos I download them from iCloud and save on my PC as HEIC, then use a converter to get JPGs. Heic photo format (iPhone 11, iOS 13.2.3)
It looks like the new format for photos on my iPhone won't work with Groups.io. -- |

I think everyone missed the OP's question. How does he retrieve the money in his Stripe account? I'm asking the same thing. In my case, having opened an account with Stripe and giving it the Account Name of [MyGroupName], the Legal Business Name of [MyGroupName], along with the Statement Descriptor of [MyGroupName Donations] and associated my website as: /g/[MyGroupName], as well as other personal info, I then had to attach/add a bank account and set up a Direct Debit. What was then necessary was to add a Bank Account and set a Payment Schedule under Settings > Payments and Payouts > Bank accounts and scheduling. Adding the bank account requires you to set up a Direct Debit arrangement (to receive payments) and then a Payout schedule. You can select an Automatic Daily, Weekly or Monthly schedule, or a Manual schedule. So far, I've received one donation in my connected bank account and expecting another 4 payments on Monday 25th November. Does that answer your question, sufficiently? Roger |

Reboot your computer and see if it still persists. It could be coming from your computer. On Mon, Nov 18, 2019 at 6:34 PM Bill Mosca <wrmosca@...> wrote: Frances - Thanks for responding. Re: Admin dropdown number
I am the owner of a group and am just getting my feet wet. On the left menu right next to the admin dropdown is a number "-2". What the heck is this and how do I respond to clear it?No sure why it is minus 2. However if you open the dropdown menu you will likely see 2 messages waiting to be approved. Re: Is this Failed message about Groups.io or the member's email address?
Cyndi,
?
Both.
?
It is the member's email service saying that Groups.io's outbound email server (66.175.222.12) is on the service's blacklist. That service is refusing to deliver messages to that member's email address. And probably also to others that might use that service.
?
The afflicted member(s) will need to contact their email service to get them straightened out on their end. There's no reason they should blacklist Groups.io - unless a significant number of their users are marking Groups.io's messages as spam.
?
Or (IMO) the affected member(s) should choose a better email service. But then I have relatively little tolerance for email services that won't deliver the messages I want to receive. From my point of view they're not doing their job.

Re: Is this Failed message about Groups.io or the member's email address?
¿ªÔÆÌåÓýHi Cyndi, it indicates that the receiving email system rejected the message because it is thinking that this groups.io server is sending spam, what is not true. So contact this member and tell him to use a different email provider. There are other options, but they all make no fun at all:-) Regards, Isidro

When we did our transfer, we ended up with messages and files from our main group moved into a subgroup.? The main group is members.. everyone is a member.? So, members can no longer access messages or files that were in the yahoo group for them.? I can see how the mistake was made but cannot get any answer as to how to rectify it.? We did NOT move anything from membership over as the person who had originally started that particular committee yahoo group has since died and no one could give moderator status to move it, so everything that is the membership group should go back to the members group.I can tell you that Groups.io essentially copies the messages, etc. from your Yahoo Group. Unless you deleted your Yahoo Group, everything should still be there. Frances ? -- FAQ on Moving from YahooGroups GMF Wiki: (unofficial) Help for members (and would-be members) and group managers |

You don't have to do anything. If you have an active Pending Subscription notice in a Restricted group, and someone sends an email or clicks on a link to join, the message is sent out automatically.
