Hi,

In the files section it is possible to create folders inside folders, which is very useful to keep things organised. I could not find something similar in the Photos section. I would like to group related photo albums together in a single top folder/album. For now, I have changed the album names to have a similar prefix, but is there a better way?

FYI, I upgraded my existing GIO group yesterday about 11am and paid the $220 and started the process.
I sent the invitation, and have heard nothing since...22hrs. ?Under "View existing Transfer status" I see a banner ? that said something like " invitation received, will accept SOON", ?I have not received any email of acceptance so ?I sent another invitation about 8am this morning.....2 hrs ago, still nothing in email.

I also notice that the refresh speed of my various Yahoo Groups have started being slower....I suppose this is all part of the game.

Final update on timeline for transfer of my Yahoo group: about 5,000 messages and 267 members: group transfer complete!

Frances, I assume your response means I should be getting the email when I send to +owners.? Is this what you think?? However, I do not get messages when I send to +owners, as explained in my prior email.? ?Perhaps it is in my settings and you could suggest something to change.? ?I've attached screenshots of three items.

• List of emails sent to +owner, showing that groups.io did receive emails
• Two screen shots of settings titled top and bottom 1/2.

Please let me know what needs to be changed, specifically.? Thanks.

My free group is now occupying 2.1GB of its allocated 1GB. I sort of assumed that setting "Out of space" to "Delete old attachments" would invoke an automatic process that would keep my group within allocation? Or do I need to do it manually?

Following on from that, is there any bulk delete photos (or attachments) tool on the horizon? (I'm not looking forwards to editing a thousand messages to delete the attachments!) Or is there a better way?

Turning it to landscape worked on my iPad Pro. I set this message to Ariel 12. After setting the font style, I had to turn the iPad portrait again because I couldn't hold and type the characters with "two thumbs".

Interesting, that once I returned to portrait, it then retained all of the 16 icons in the menu's second bar. Which means the iPad is capable of interpreting the coding to display the expanded second line of icons while in portrait. It just can't do so if in portrait mode intially.?

I have been wondering for 8 months why there was no underline, undo, redo and other common icons. Very thankful to find them. I am going to explore landscape mode a bit more to see if it allows me to resize inserted photos. I haven't been able to save after making them smaller. The save button doesn't work, at least not in portrait. Landscape has offered up a new world of options on IO?

My image disappeared a long time ago, but showed up again today when I tried this. Unfortunately the instructions didn’t work for me, it said "We are sorry, you can not display images hosted by Yahoo! Groups on non Yahoo! Groups pages” - even though I was logged in. I tried two browsers.

Just to clarify, I see the messages. But when using my Android tablet and phone, I just don't see the reply buttons or options below the messages to reply to the list or sender. When I use my desktop with Windows 10 (like now) I see the reply options and can use them as needed. But not on my Android units. Hope this explains the situation better.

That is how Yahoo stored the date data; and I assume it simply is the format of the mail which the threadstarter is using.

?I downloaded the mails using a self written shellscript which imitates the browserfunction (command: wget). Some of the postings are in the notation "Month, Day, Time", some are in "Month, Day, Year". See .

If you scroll through this file you will find, that my account usually posts with "Month, Day, Year", but when I answer to some one whith the "Month, Day, Time" format, then my reply uses the same format.

I think this is not a fault of groups.io (and maybe even not of yahoo).

Thank you for the information on retrieving the cover images. I found that it works even if Yahoo isn't displaying the image, because the link is still there. It worked like a charm, once I selected the right URL.

Seems to me that since the values in the csv file are text, that
"text" might be a good first guess at the type.

In an export from a Yahoo Group table they are simply text. Otherwise, it could vary.

Don't think of the IDs as row numbers. That will always trip you up.

You cannot. Each row has an ID that is assigned when the row was created, and never changes. Think of them more like message numbers, a given number permanently identifies the content of that row.

Well, there is that way. But it is a losing battle unless no one will ever delete any rows.

Your group is known internally by Groups.io independent of the external web and email addresses (the "name").
