HOW TO CHECK TRANSFER STATUS (was: transfer problem)
Okay, let's try this again.
- Go to the Yahoo transfer page at?/yahootransfer
- Select the transfer you want to check status on from "Existing Transfers" at lower right (click on its name)*
- The box at the top of the resulting page will tell you the status of that transfer.
- Repeat for any other transfers you may have in progress.

No, there is not, with caveats.
If you just want the messages and be able to read them, you can find a third-party application and download all of the messages.? Then you can upload those messages as any number of files *which you will have to create* to groups.io.? You could save those messages from the third-party application as PDFs, or .txt files or word .doc files or whatever you want.? At that point they cease to be *email files*.
When you upload them to groups.io, they will not be searchable.? You will not be able to search for specific emails that include the words "brown dogs".? The new files that you have uploaded will show as belonging to you (or to whomever uploaded them).? You will not be able to continue those conversations/messages/emails as a thread.
If you want to transfer your messages from Y!G and have them remain as individual, searchable messages, you need to do the $110 premium group automated transfer.

It seems pretty obvious to me that the text you have copied in your message clearly does NOT state that there is a limit to invites that can be sent at one time.

It clearly states that you've reached the limit that doesn't need to be approved.? I highlighted and italicized that below.

Invite 20 people in one day, no approval needed, 20 people invited.
Invite 20 people every day for five days, no approval needed, 100 people invited total.
Invite 100 people in a day, approval needed, 100 people invited total (after approval, which usually takes a few hours, but right now things are taking longer)

1) PGOffline has a 14-day free trial. You can download messages, files, photos, and attachments. It's fully functional, no pay-for features.
2) PGOffline has a rudimentary "Export to HTML" feature. If you have some web space, e.g., Google Drive, you can export the database to a series of HTML files and put that online. You can share publicly or with a limited audience.

I'll add that when the facebook integration *WAS* working, in my experience, it simply emailed every update that was made on a facebook PUBLIC page *TO* the groups.io group.? It was a one-way street.? Posts originally made on groups.io did not automatically show up on facebook.
Our group used it so lazy admins only had to post information on facebook, and not post a second time on groups.io.? Our groups.io group exists solely for the people who don't want to be stuck on facebook.

I did and made it a moderator. Then I logged in with that ID and made my old ID a moderator, too.
But to make PGO work, I have to use the new Yahoo ID. Simply repeat my process and PGO will be able to log in, using the new ID.

I have the a similar issue. I invited [email protected] to my Yahoo group, but the invitation has not been accepted. If this is just a delay due to the volume of requests, I'm fine with that, but I worry that the invitation has not been received. Yahoo is such a mess. You mention a status box I guess on the transfer page, but I don't know where to see that. Sorry for being a dumb newbie.

Dot in email address not recognized
I have one member of a group that has a "." in the first part of his email address.? Both times I have tried to add him, Groups.io seems to remove the ".".? Since this is not his email address, he is getting error messages.? Help for this?

Cindy -- If the target primary group is already on a Premium Yearly payment plan, I see no reason why you can't do it. If you're paying for Premium month by month, the answer will probably be no. Regards, Bruce

Adam; you doubtless noticed that groups.io redacted part of PA0DUV's email address, at least on the web UI here. (I do not use email delivery for groups; my Inbox would probably self - destruct.) Have a look on QRZ.com; there is an email address for him there which may or may not be the same as that you already have; if it's different then try it. Does the Yahoo group have any other moderators with the necessary permissions? If nothing else your experience is a timely reminder that all groups should have more than one owner. Chris

David -- This kind of thing is best handled using an email integration. Setting one up creates a post-only address where you can direct such messages. You'll find this under Admin>Integrations. Hope this helps, Bruce

My organization just migrated from Yahoo to groups.io. We also use signupgenius.com to allow people to sign up for events. Signupgenius sends messages directly to our group, with the messages "From" field set to one of the members of the group. This worked fine with Yahoo groups. With groups.io, the messages from?signupgenius are bouncing. Here is the error I see in our groups.io activity log:
Non-member msprvs1=181969m0f3sot=bounces-85935@... attempted to send message "CCI at Applovin in San Francisco, 11/7/2019 Invite" via email
It appears the groups.io is looking at the Sender field, not the From field. Is there any way to fix this?
