It seems that you're the only owner left so you can't leave.? You'd need to delete it at the bottom of the settings page.? Go to the Home page of the group to see if there's an Owner badge next to the Home item on the left menu.? You can always go to the Admin > Members page, then select Moderators from the Members dropdown to see the status of any remaining.? If there are no other owners and you can't delete the group, you'll need to contact Support.

I¡¯m not sure. If you have any way of contacting the owner, to ask him or her what to do. Or what the plan is. I just created a group myself, and only have a few members. It is for my YouTube channel primarily, but it¡¯s also, used to ask people or talk about assistive technology, accessible games for the blind and such.

If a message is sent to all three subgroups, does John receive threeA person who is a member of all three subgroups would be sent three copies of the message. Each with its own subgroup-specific subject tag and footer. Whether that person sees all three copies depends on their email interface. Gmail, for example, will show only one copy and hide the duplicates. I don't think you can control, or even predict, which copy is shown. Does a message recipient that is in multiple subgroups receive multiple copies of same email?
¿ªÔÆÌåÓýOr, does??send only one copy of the message to the recipient? ? For example,?john@...?is a member of three different subgroups. ? If a message is sent to all three subgroups, does John receive three versions of the same email (or does the system eliminate all but one message)? ? The use case I am inquiring about includes the same email address within multiple subgroups (not different email addresses for same recipient). ? If the answer is ¡°no¡±, then is there a setting that enables receipt of only one copy of the message?? Thank you.? Roger |

If you continue to see anomalies, I think we would all be grateful for the results of any testing you might do to chase this down for good.?? Re: Asking a question of new subscribers before approving
People ask to join our main group in several ways - through Groups.IO, through word of mouth, some books or other web sites list us as a resource (we are a peer support group). No matter how the referral comes to us, we have a "form letter" that is manually sent by one of the moderators - we have shifts so 4 of us can take turns checking our group email account and the Pending member list. Our letter tells a little more about the group and includes the questions we want to ask of new members. AFTER we get a response to that email then we "Approve" or "Add" the member and they get the automated Welcome Letter through Groups.IO.
It really isn't that much of a problem - we only get a few inquiries a week now (after over 20 years the size has leveled out!) and our form letter is stored as a template so our "check the email" chore usually takes only a minute or two. I can see wanting to automate this if you get dozens of requests, or if you are the only person responsible for it, but actually, we like to have that bit of personal contact before adding a new person. I know there are lots of ways groups have handled the issue of needing more information or verification - just sharing what works for us. Barb |

I am the owner - no moderators - so the mail wasn't rejected by theSorry for the confusion. That's not what I meant. The group will automatically reject messages under some circumstances - such as when a an address that isn't in the Members list attempts to post (to a group that doesn't allow non-subscribers to post). If an automatic rejection occurs it will be shown in the Activity log. That could tell you why your messages haven't posted. When I scrolled my mouse over the word STATS it showed the correctIt wouldn't /send/? Do you mean that Incredimail gave you some kind of error message when you tried to send the message to the group? I tried it with the plain group email and then my mail startedSounds like there's something wrong (a typo?) with that particular shortcut. In any case, the problem seems to be on the Incredimail side. If you have a second email address you could try using the STATS shortcut to post a message, and also CC the message to that other address. When you receive the message at the other address you could double-check that the To: which was sent matches your group's address. Feel free to use me (personal address, not GMF) as your second address if you don't have one. Look at the email address it said it could not deliver to:True. Groups.io now disguises the sender's email addresses.Not entirely correct. That's not a disguise, that's a work-around for the DMARC problem created by some email services. You'll note that it only applies to members using certain email services. /static/help#dmarc It also applies to yourself if you use Gmail, but that's for a different reason - it avoids a "spoofing" warning from Gmail. Shal might jump in here and tell us but there is a return address andCorrect. In groups where Reply To is set to "Group", Groups.io includes a Reply-To header field specifying that replies should be sent to the group's posting address. This would be different than the From: field. At any rate, what is causing your problem is that Outlook is usingCorrect again. Some email interfaces, and apparently Office 365 is one of them, ignore the Reply-To header field and instead send the reply to the From address. The Reply-To field is a part of the email standard, and has been from the start. " The originator fields also provide the information required when replying to a message. When the "Reply-To:" field is present, it indicates the address(es) to which the author of the message suggests that replies be sent. In the absence of the "Reply-To:" field, replies SHOULD by default be sent to the mailbox(es) specified in the "From:" field unless otherwise specified by the person composing the reply." RFC 5322 Section 3.6.2 IMO ignoring Reply-To should be treated as a bug in the email interface. It doesn't seem possible that the information of where you were when you clicked on the Easy Transfer link could possibly matter to the rest of the process. However, if you're certain of what you say please report the details to [email protected] - for that most certainly would be a bug.
