How does a member un-bounce themselves?

Re: "Following"
No. The person can click on follow in the email footer. Or on the group page - Follow This Topic. There are tweaks to the subscription possible. See -

"Following"
When a member replies "Following" or "I'd like to know also" to a post, does that accomplish anything? Herb Hodes, Moderator PebbleCreek Groups IO

Re: Not Ban - Ban
The usual workaround is to suggest they just set up a filter in their mail client that detects this guy's email address and sends his messages to the bit-bucket. That won't change what they see online

Re: Not Ban - Ban
There's no way to do that.? There IS a topic on the beta group ( https://beta.groups.io/g/main/topic/91985347 ) to allow one member to mute another that should accomplish what you need.? You may

Re: What happened to the option to have membership pay groups.io directly?
Sponsorship is the name. You enable a button on the homepage. Users can pay in, Groups.io doesn't add a processing fee. They hold the funds. As owner, you just watch the reports or check in the

Not Ban - Ban
I've one user that seems to be utilizing all the bandwidth in the group. So much that another list owner is considering quitting the group. There is a mostly silent owner and two fairly active owners.

Re: What happened to the option to have membership pay groups.io directly?
I think you're referring to Sponsorship.? The info on that is found in the Owners Manual ( /helpcenter/ownersmanual/1/using-the-sponsorship-feature-to-defray-groups ).? You can

What happened to the option to have membership pay groups.io directly?
Last year groups.io sent a message to all owners that there was a new way to pay for the subscriptions, that is, users would pay the group? directly, or some such plan, to eliminate me, as a group

Re: Topics vs Messages
The view that you get depends on how you get there.? For example, using the Your Groups dropdown at the top will always get you to Topics.? Otherwise the site remembers your last view. Duane -- Lots

Topics vs Messages
In the drop down, under messages, how do I get my choice of Topics to remain without having to change it from Messages each time? Thank you.

Re: Filters in databases #database
Bruce took the time to make such a suggestion on the beta group ( https://beta.groups.io/g/main/topic/109429550 ) where the developers will see it.? Whether it might be implemented or not is up to

Re: Filters in databases #database
It took me a while to get back to you, but thank you for the suggestions. Indeed it's already possible to make columns with various options to choose from, like with checkboxes or radio buttons.

Re: Filters in databases #database
Hm. Looks like this field type already exists (Single select, multiple choice). That's more than half the battle. Would anyone be offended if I made the suggestion? Bruce Check out the groups.io Help

Re: Filters in databases #database
Filters only work on fields that are restricted to a fixed number of constant, unchangeable values. In computer-speak, these are known as enumerated types (

Re: Filters in databases #database
You can sort by column, so that should accomplish at least part of what you're looking for.? The only way to know if the developer (Mark) would be open to something is to make a #suggestion on the

Filters in databases #database
Currently there are no options to filter in databases, one can only search, as far as I know. It would be nice if this feature would be added, so you could filter for instance on one of the columns.

Re: adding a comment to a poll response
Thanks, Francis. I noticed there is a built in way to email folks who answered a particular poll item so that is another workaround I could use.

Re: Deleting old attachments in a free group
Thanks again for the useful help.? Now I get to try to make a good summation for a future owner.? LOL

Re: adding a comment to a poll response
You can't add additional content to a poll. You can of course allow more than one answer. A workaround - as long as your group is set to reply to group (typical), once the poll has been answered, you
