It sounds like you have two logins if you can see all your other groups. You can merge your logins. Or you left or were removed from the flute club group. Can you ask another owner / moderator to look

For security reasons, there is a general trend towards emailing links rather than attachments so perhaps Groups.io is no different in this respect. How many organisations do you deal with these days

In that case, there are a couple of options.? You can use the Restricted setting for the group and use a Pending Subscription notice for them to return.? Or have them send the info to the +owner
