I don't think anyone has suggested that. What has been suggested is that you check your Email Delivery History on your "Membership" page on the web UI and also check your mail service provider's spam

No.? Sending of messages to you is determined by your subscription settings for the group.? Whether you actually receive them is determined by your email provider. Duane -- The official Groups.io
