So, I've experimented... If I comment out line 218 the import appears to work OK! The From line is not rewritten. But is it necessary for it to be rewritten? I stopped the import after two messages.

That's a function of how the reply was made and which email client, if any, was used.? GIO does it's best to find quotes at the end of a messages, then hide them, but there are so many possibilities
