lately all messages from groups.io come in this format, all 10 groups or so that I belong to. but none of them show who the sender is in my mailbox, I have to open each one to see who the sender is.

I too want that feature. It was available as far back as CompuServe so it can¡¯t be that big a deal, on my opinion. We mods used to constantly move individual messages to the right section. Susan B

There is a short (undefined!) delay between your creating a group and it becoming available for use. Groups.io goes through an approval process just to make sure that there is nothing obviously amiss
