Hi Bruce, I don't have anything set up to forward e-mails between my different e-mail accounts. If I have a Groups.io account under the "wrong" e-mail, how do I find it? When I go to the group with

Re: How much time does it take to manage a group?
Thank you Peter! Well under half-an-hour per WEEK sounds very do-able! I do not expect disputes, and so forth, but who knows what lurks in the hearts and minds of group members? Regards, Ken, KM4NFQ

Re: How much time does it take to manage a group?
I'd add that if you need to be hands-on in terms of dealing with disputes, inappropriate posts, breaches of guidelines, etc. then of course it will take more time. I have a group of 900 users who post

Re: Current Delay ?
My 5 main groups are all completed. Now I'm trying to transfer several subgroups into the main groups. Since Transfer has not joined as yet, I can't make it a Mod, hence there is no status.

Re: Photo permissions
I very much suspect so. The first problem (which I described above) is that the photos retrieved from Yahoo are likely to exceed the storage space available for a Basic group. That would mean that it

Re: How much time does it take to manage a group?
It depends on a lot of factors. Moderated or not? If?moderated, and it is of interest to people in other time zones, you might like to find at least another moderator ideally in another time zone.

Re: How much time does it take to manage a group?
Good question. In my opinion it's not a question?of managing a group, but of letting a group evolve. The question is probably better put as how much time does it take to monitor a group? But then it

Re: Photo permissions
Margo -- That is incorrect. In groups.io, photo ownership is entirely separate from folder ownership. If someone uploads a photo to someone else's public photo folder, they can later delete (or move)

Unfortunately, the error message by Gmail is misleading. The real error message (510, 5.1.1) is further down that message -- it says: ------------------------------------------------------------- 510

OK; as you have started a new group is it safe to assume that it is a Basic group with 1 GB of storage? Before you start uploading I suggest that you check how much space they are going to occupy. 286

Bruce, Thanks for the feedback/info. The "join date" seniority issue is certainly not a high priority. If the join date could be corrected in three to six or eight months that would be fine. Members
