What are app are you using? The instructions say:

Transfers are queued up when you first set it up and processed in that order until you get to Step 5.?

At that point they are re-ordered based on when the transfer go-ahead is given and uploaded to groups.io in that order (unless you pay $200 for priority service).

When you click on the green "Set Up New Transfer" button at bottom left of the Yahoo groups transfer page (/yahootransfer), a new page will come up where you can enter the source and destination group names.?

There is also a series of checkboxes for the various areas of the group to transfer (files, photos, members, messages, etc). Simply uncheck the ones you don't want before clicking the "Start New Transfer Process" button.

If you've already started a transfer, return to the Yahoo groups transfer page (/yahootransfer), select the transfer you've already started from the "Existing Transfers" list (pull down the menu and click on its name). On the resulting page you will see the same series of checkboxes. Uncheck the ones you don't want and then click the "Update Transfer" button. Actual transfer status for any ongoing transfer can be found in the status box at the top of the page.

New (2019-10-25) If you have started a Yahoo Group transfer, and the status is the message that starts "Make sure you have sent an invite to your group", that means that we have not received your invite yet and that you should send another one. That message will change automatically when we receive the invite and is not subject to the delays in other parts of the process are seeing.

I am a member of a Yahoo group but am not moderator. The moderator is unresponsive. Is there any way of transferring the group contents from Yahoo to groups.io without being the Yahoo moderator?You might read this thread. /g/GroupManagersForum/message/19672 You might also just start a new group here, invite members. Apryl, you are trying to add transfer to your Yahoo Group, right??
Some people have tried to invite the transfer agent to their Groups.io group. Perhaps YahooGroups is acting up. As you undoubtedly know, as a moderator at Yahoo, under Manage Members, I can pull up a list of ¡°Bouncing.¡± I now see that it is 182 long, none are marked ¡°No Emails¡± but most of them joined many years ago and I believe that the problem is that their emails are all invalid. That means that they were not receiving any communications but may have been posting and reading.
In an unrelated problem, nothing I post in the Yahoo group is being displayed. My guess is that the Yahoo moderators are deleting it. Gene |

I've been wondering whether there will be any problems if people postI do, and there is no problem. The message numbers will get intermingled, but that's only noticeable using the previous/next buttons in the messages view.
