One of the difficulties in troubleshooting this kind of problem is it may not be entirely a groups.io issue. It probably depends on the upload speed of your connection in addition to how busy the groups.io server is. Posting the results of an upload and download speed test in the problem description may help in understanding the issue.

I should also mention that I was uploading a ZIP file. What kind of file are you uploading?

We are a premium group that periodically closes for several days to give the moderators a break. Is there a way to automatically send out a daily notice to all members reminding them that we are closed for specific days. (We announce and remind them in messages of the closing beforehand.) There seems to be no option to send a Special Notice daily. ?I came up empty in checking the Owner's Manual. ?Hence, my question. Thanks. Ann? |

If you later start a new group for a different purpose and don't want to upgrade to premium, your new group won't have file and picture storage, among other things. I don't know how Mark could make it any more difficult to accidentally delete a group.
