Joseph -- I suspect this is not the same problem that Tess is having. You were removed because you (or your provider) marked a legitimate group message as spam. Your provider then sends groups.io a

Is the message you sent in the group archive? If so, note that it is possible for a message to be sent without trouble and then your own ISP auto mark it as spam when it comes back to you. Malcolm. --

If you were removed automatically by Groups.io for spam, that's not your co-owner. It might have been you marking an email as spam or likely your internet provider. See

That's a different matter. That's about a message you RECEIVED, not one you SENT. You flagged a message from groups.io as spam or your email provider did it on your behalf. So groups.io stopped
