When there are pending members, the default view for that page is Pending.? You have to use the drop down to select Members to get to the regular page. Duane -- GMF's Wiki:

Possible bug in membership approval
There are 30 members in our group and a new person applied for subscription. Usually it shows up in the pending list under admin for approval. Today it shows that email address under admin->members

I can easily find all posts by current members of my group. For members who have changed their email addresses, or are no longer members, I would like to be able to find all messages that they posted.
