We just tried again. 1. The group name was gray indicating I am not a member. 2. I was told that I didn't have permission to enter the group. 3. The owner was told that I am already a member.

Mere Subscribers cannot send a Special Notice. Only Moderators and Owners can do that. If you, as a Moderator/Owner, used the hashtag, it would work. Regards, Bruce

Yes the green banner is there. I have never before seen it because my iPad mini doesn't show that much "screen display". I wouldn't have thought about scrolling up to a page top looking for a banner.
