The threats are lies. The troll didn't hack, he just spoofs sender email addresses in his emails. Send me or post full header of a spoofed message, may be I'll be able to tell you where to complain to.
this is harassment or cyberbullying, been going for a few weeks, my
friend then had to close the previous group, due to all these sperious
messages, then he set up another group and having the same issue.
Your friend needs to switch messages to his groups to moderated (Settings - Spam Control - "Moderated All posts require approval before being sent to the group"), and moderate all messages. Delete (not reject) messages from the troll.
The only effective way to deal with the troll is to ignore him. He craves attention.
