As I already said, when I set the tag field to blank, then update, the default?tag reappears.

However, I've now set the tag field to a single blank, and that is accepted. It is good enough.

You can get rid of the tag by setting it to blank, you must have forgotten to click on Update when you removed the tag text, I just tested it and you don't have to put a space, you can fully delete the tag text, but you must click on Update before it takes effect.
