Have a look at /g/GroupManagersForum/wiki/25069.? That shows when things changed and what applies to various groups.? You can look at the Billing/Upgrade page of the group in question to see Your Group Features that may be Legacy Enabled.? That means you'd keep them if you downgrade to Basic.? Unless it specifically gives a number for Members: (not shown on older groups), you have no limit.
