Re: Yahoo Group Suddenly Comes To Life

New people coming to the old group - that is one I never heard or thought about Actually I think the old group needed someone to approve new members I do not think new people can now still reach the old group?
?
So far I have sent out a message to the old group every three months or so that we have moved So far it has only brought almost inactive members of the old group to the next one But the owner of the old group literally being deceased we can also not close the old group?
?
But unless new messages at the old group occur it is gone? anyway
?
Best regards

Personally, I think there is a good reason to keep the old group, even if it's been gutted.? Many people learn about a group from something someone posted on a website or in another forum many years ago.? Leaving the old group gives them guidance to find the new group.

If you delete the old group, they can't find the new group at its new location -- unless they embark on a process of discovery with no roadsigns to help them.? I like leaving behind roadsigns.
