Re: bouncing (again) .... and again

Rob,

My bounces aren't working that way. During the conversion from Yahoo
to groups.io, 5 of my group's addresses were converted to
name@... instead of the actual email addresses, hence the big B.
That doesn't seem likely.

What's more likely is that some members had more than one email address listed in your Yahoo Group. One their Yahoo Mail sign-on (name@...) and another at their preferred email service. A lot of Yahoo Group members ended up that way out of frustration with Yahoo Groups' complex and ever-changing account management.

I was able to edit one of the 5 by using her bounce message (she was
getting the bounce message on her actual address) ...
No doubt she had her Yahoo Mail set up with a filter to forward messages to her "actual" address. Which was another way people worked-around the ever-changing difficulty of connecting a preferred email address to one's Yahoo Account.

... by using her bounce message ... link to fix it ...
Heh, you mean you logged in as her?

Is there a less than obvious method for me to modify the incorrectly-
xlated email addresses to what they really are ...
As Duane said, with a Premium group you can access and change a member's email address, working through your group's Members list.

But in the case of these particular members you may encounter the speed-bump of finding that their "actual" addresses are already registered at Groups.io (possibly even members of your group) by virtual of a second membership in the Yahoo Group.

Or not, if these people were using a forwarding filter rather than a second membership.

Nope. beginning of a question.
For future reference, it is generally recommended to start your own topic when opening a new question (even if it is a related topic). That way people who've muted the original topic won't miss your question, and you won't distract from answers to the OP.
