and the PGO2GIO software ($50+) are both looking more and more like vaporware.
I am one of a few beta testers of the P2G software. It is in
development. It has been able to upload messages for at least one
tester, and I was able to do some also, but I encountered a glitch in
the process.
I am not at liberty to tell more, but this developer doesn't want to
release software that will not work well for everyone and that has
glitches in it. A new version is being readied for testing.
For now, just be glad that you have the messages, files, and photos
archived by PGO. That was the time-sensitive part. Once the program is
past the testing stage, you would use P2G (actually PGO-2-GIO) to do
your uploading, slowly over time, to either a new group before you
have members, or to an "announce only" subgroup where the messages
will be stored and can be searched. (You wouldn't want members to get
50,000 messages in their inbox all at once.)
When will it be ready? Not soon enough for many, of course, but it's
making real progress.
