Hi,
One way (and this seems to be the most common one) is to create a periodic
event in Calendar that specifies messages to be sent (as the body of the
appointment) on a regular basis.

On Yahoo I was able to send out a message automatically every month. I don't
see how to do this on groups.io but surely this must be a feature?
