John -- As Duane stated, your only option at this point is to ask your co-owner to promote you back to owner. This is done by having him open your subscriber record (Admin>Members) and change the Role field using the pull-down menu. Be sure he clicks on the Save button at the bottom of the page when done.

In the [unlikely] event that you don't have a member record, you're going to have to re-subscribe to the group first.

If this situation should arise again, be careful to merge your accounts the other way (i.e.: into the email address that owns your group).
