I commend you for the efforts you put into providing support for your group members.
Have you considered a more proactive approach? That is, don't wait for the inevitable 30 day timeout and the associated traumatic experience. Suggest that your users who are still experiencing difficulties get in the habit of logging out and back in again once every week or two.
