I am merely a member of the group. Combing through the information on
the page for that group, I see no way to access, view or copy a
membership list.
As a member, no. You would have to be at least a moderator.

If you know of a way to do that, please enlighten me.
The closest a member can get would be to collect the email addresses of people who posted - if the member was receiving individual emails and if the member has been saving them in their email interface. But that will only get the (sometimes very few) members who actually posted messages.
