When you get the invitation from that group, you will only need to click the Reply button to join that list. When you click the link, you can, but do not have to chose a password right away. If you click the " Send me a link to log into your Groups.io account" button you will get an eMail. If you click on that link in the eMail you will be back in the group, and you will be signed in for 30 days. (That can be repeated any time.) To go to the web site from then on, you only click in it in your Browser. When we later complete the transfer, all posts, files and pictures will be copied over to the Goups.IO list. The Yahoo list will remain open as Jim only gave me very limited Moderator privileges. I suggest to send new posts to HYPERLINK "mailto:CanAm-Toronto@groups.io" \n _blankCanAm-Toronto@groups.io with a CC to HYPERLINK "mailto:CanAm_Toronto@yahoogroups.com" \n _blankCanAm_Toronto@yahoogroups.com until we are all comfortable with the new list. Anything posted to Yahoo only after the transfer will NOT be moved over again to the new one. If, and when we are switching the only thing you will have to remember is to add the group name in your address book. The owner of Groups.io is very responsive to recommendations made. He is the one who founded eGroups (that is where Cy started the CanAm group) and later sold it to Yahoo. -- Regards, Arno : < > x z * , BDvxzFjUjjUjU0JjUU NF"/ =!n"n#n$n3P(20՜.+,D՜.+,\Root Entry F CompObjjOle 1TableCData !SummaryInformation(-WordDocument $DocumentSummaryInformation80t
