I am sorry that you or someone you love is going through this. This may not be possible given that you are in DC? but, I highly recommend Dr. Gary Steinberg the head of neurosurgery at Stanford medial. He treated a friend who had a brain tumor. He also treated me for Cavernous Malformation when I was bleeding into my brain. He saved my life and my ability to walk. He also helped a woman who suffered from a stroke. She was unable to walk, speak or use her hands for 3 years, he put stem cells where she suffered a stroke. Within 24 hours she could use her hands and speak. She now walks and has at least one child.
