confused by first lab work results....
Hi this is my first time sending an email. In may 2017 i was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer, i started budwig protocol june 3 and have really been feeling pretty good. i was finally able to get my first blood work done mid august and just recently got results back. i was able to get my pcp to order the ca profile blood work so my insurance would pay. but she was not able to interpret results other than saying all test were normal and negative. even my CEA was in normal range it was .5. now i'm confused because if i'm interpreting test correctly it looks like my treatments are already helping? I am so hopeful that treatments have helped but i'm not sure because i don't know how to interpret tests?? blood work results just created more questions?? does anyone have any ideas?? thanks for any input!!

Hi Charlotte, What tests did u take to diagnose stage 4 BC? Won't taking the same types of test review your progress better?? When my breast tumor got aggressive in March 2017, CA15.3 went up to 84. In July 2017 it was 25 but I was not clear yet. Hope I am now. My CEA has always been normal. I guess CA profile cannot tell everything.? Anyway, your result seems to be a good sign..? Good luck,? Shalom Charlotte! It seems to me that you are to be congratulated! You started the Budwig Protocol (BP) on 3 June.? It is now 10 September, 3 months and one week later.? We are generally advised not to expect real results from following the BP before three to four months.? You are right in that window!? By the way, have you followed the BP fully, avoiding all that must be avoided, and eating all that must be consumed, at the right times?? I admit that such full healing from stage IV cancer, in less than four months, seems amazing, but we are used to seeing amazing things on this forum.? We hope with you that your understanding is correct. You wrote "... pcp to order the ca profile blood work so my insurance would pay. but she was not able to interpret results other than saying all test were normal and negative" I do not know what you mean by pcp, but if your pcp could not interpret the results of the test, she should refer you to an oncologist who can interpret them for you.? From another non-professional, it looks to me as though your interpretation is correct. I agree that it would be reassuring to have an expert opinion to confirm that interpretation.? Please let us know the good news! I do agree with Annei that perhaps you might take the ?SAME diagnostic tests now as you took previously, so that you can compare the results better. sincerely, Rahel Jerusalem On Sun, Sep 10, 2017 at 11:14 AM, Annei Leung anneileung@... That sounds like wonderful news!? I am
awaiting biopsy results for BC and am wondering if you did strictly the Budwig
Protocol and no other treatment.? If I am found to have BC, I hope I am
brave enough to follow through with only Budwig.? I have been partially
doing it for months because of my husband's cancer...fresh fruits, vegetables,
and the FO/CC.? No dairy and very little animal fat. ?I find it to be
fairly easy compared to what some go through with chemo and radiation.? I
would have to be stricter; I know.? Please let me know if you had any other
treatment, other than BP.
