WHY More pain at night????
We are approaching over 3 months on the BP for my mother-in-law Mary,
who has primary liver cancer and the tumors are very large at this point. As of late she has been having a lot of pain at night. So much that she is unable to sleep. During the day, she seems ok and doesn't complain about pain. The pain came on suddenly as she had just had several "good days". We are doing everything....castor oil compresses, eldi oil enemas and following the protocol to the letter. We don't know what else to do and we don't know why she is having so much pain at night. We are wondering if we should "juice" her last meal of the day instead of solids... Has anyone else experienced this? How have you dealt with it? |
I don't know why she would be experiencing pain at night, but here are

a few suggestions: Don't eat heavily in the evening Take some digestive enzymes w/ meals Try sleeping in a reliner If the liver is swollen it could press on a "pulsating vein" or could prevent urine from passing from the kidney to the liver when lying down. I know there are many other possibilities. Praying you'll discover the answer soon, Jan

Do you do coffee enemas? Unless the pain is caused by the
pressure of the tumor (which is an unbearable kind of pain) it's probably due to the release of toxins by the tumor cells, which are the byproduct of their metabolism. For some reason it usually takes place at night, I've observed the same thing with myself. I've also noticed that intake of food closer to bedtime really instigates the pain. It would be best to stop eating around 4 or 6 pm. I haven't done so myself yet for lack of discipline, but it would help I'm sure.
