Cindy :) Re: Fear of doing the Budwig Diet only.
Dear Cindy and anyone else who is also in fear of committing fully to Budwig or any other protocol, be it alternative or not.

I don't think it would be a shot in the dark to say that almost all of us who have fully committed to the Budwig Protocol went through exactly what you are going through right now. For me, it has been just the last few years that I have begun to learn how to get answers to questions that my brain simply could not produce. For the majority of my life, I ignorantly spent MANY wasted hours and much wasted energy "up in my head" so to speak when it came time to making important decions. I am so happy that I have found, for me, a better way to handle such matters. For many it is important to do research and couple cold hard facts with logic and common sense when making an important decision. I know that is the case for me. But I find it interesting that no matter how many facts I gather, it is ALWAYS my deepest inner truth and wisdom that leads me to my perfect desired outcome. Many people have responded to your post with AMAZINGLY important, relevant and useful information that I think will serve, at the very least, to comfort you. Information on chemotherapy and Johanna Budwig and stories of their own experience. When making my decision to do this protocol 100%, I did much research as well. I even began implementing it into my life while still on chemotherapy. That was the easy part. The hard part came when my heart and soul began to tug at me and point me in another direction. I was diagnosed with Stage IV Her 2 Neu (Very aggressive) cancer. When I found out the statistics (a mere 2 % overall survival rate), I intellectually understood that chemo simply could not offer me what I was aiming for. My doctor agreed. He knew he could not "cure" me and even went so far as to tell me that "cure" was not even a word that oncologists use anymore. So, I knew I had to find something else. I suggest you and your husband go within for your answer. That is what I knew I had to do. After much prayer and meditation, I found my answer. And it was to commit fully to this protocol. It is important to learn to quiet the mind when searching within. The spirit harbors no fear. And in my experience, fear based decisions have never led me to my destination. In fact, they have ALWAYS led me straight into the mouth of whatever beast I was trying to escape from. It is the human mind and emotions that recognize, create and respond to fear. The spirit knows nothing of it at all. When we can free ourselves of fear and any attachment to outcomes in general, the present moment will grant us just that - a present. The answer will ring true inside your being. But be careful, once you have discovered your truth, your mind may start it's chatter again and try to convince you otherwise. People in your life, doctors, commercials, family and friends will express their truth. And it may look very different than yours and your husbands. But I implore you to stay true to your own discoveries. The benefits one reaps when doing so are great. For, me, living in my own unique truth has been the greatest joy of my life. I am no one to tell anyone what is right for them. I can only say what is right for me. And for me, this is right. One day in mediation an idea came to me. It said "Ask the website owner at healingcancernaturally.com (where I first discovered the BP) if she knows of anyone who has recovered, totally and fully from Breast cancer". So, I did. And she posted my question to this group. I got many responses. They were supportive and sounded great but not what I was looking for. Then one day a woman named Karen shared her story with me. She is on this site. And she had recovered fully and totally, by only using the BP. She watched her tumors disappear right in front of her eyes. And I will forever be grateful for sweet Karen my Angel. It is through her that I got my answer. I ran with it. And I have never looked back. I am now in remission and doing well. Hope this helps. All answers lie within. "Cindy Becker" wrote: I read your messages every day, and find comfort in your thoughts. I submitted a question last month for my husband who was diagnosed with limited Stage IV Lung Cancer. The response made me go back and review our daily routine and modify a couple areas my husband was slacking on. For the last 30 days, I have made sure that he has implemented all recommendations....I guess like everyone else who faces this disease, we are just looking for some encouragement. |

Did Karen have breast cancer? Her testimony sounds like one that should be shared and recorded in our files. Can you get her to write it up for us? Melanie ----- Original Message -----

Melanie,
Even though you directed this to Bronwynn... after just looking, Sandra has already put the message in the files. It is in folder 6 with all the other testamonials. Hers is the 6th breast cancer one. Karen's name is beside it (there are some other very impressive ones right next to it as well!). Enjoy! Martha --- "Melanie King" wrote: should be shared and recorded in our files.
