karlschmierer
Dear Wilhelm,
Thank you for your advice regarding using youghurt or quark. I have a really important question I would like to put to you. Is the Budwig diet truly an effective means of overcoming cancer? My wife has been diagnosed with breast cancer and will not submit to surgery, chemo or radiation. Therefore we need to be certain that we taking the rights steps in bringing about an effective cure for her. Thank you, Karl Schmierer |

Dear Karl,
The fact that your wife has decided not to submit to surgery, chemo or radiation makes the next step of deciding what alternative method to use easier. In my opinion the Budwig Protocol is an excellent choice for most cancers including breast cancer, as well as for many other types of degenerative diseases. That is why I am here spending my time on this list to inform people about it. Good results have been obtained with diabetes for example. You say, you need to be certain. Like in any treatment, there is no certainty and no guarantee of success. Nobody can give you that. To improve one's chances, it is best to follow the Budwig Protocol closely. That is obviously what Dr. Budwig has done and her results with cancer were excellent across the board. According to one reporter, Dr. Budwig said that she has had a success rate approaching 98%. For the original report on that please see message number 4289. You can learn more about the Budwig Protocol by reading our files and her two books in English. If you speak German you can also buy her latest book "Krebs - Das Problem und die L?sung" which by the way will soon be available in English as well. Book details and ordering information are in our files as well. As you will see from Anna's posts today, ground flaxseeds are an important part of the Budwig Protocol. I mention them especially since your wife has breast cancer. However, please look at the entire protocol. Best wishes for good health to you and your wife, Wilhelm Dear Wilhelm, Thank you for your advice regarding using youghurt or quark. I have a really important question I would like to put to you. Dear Karl,
I believe it is a good choice on your wife's part. With surgery, the surgeon hardly ever "gets it all," and the surgery can spread the cancer. In nearly all cases, surgery is followed by chemo"therapy" and/or radiation. If you will go to our files section, by clicking in the blue rectangle to the left where it says "files," you and your wife can find and read two significant magazine articles, written by unbiased parties, showing in no uncertain terms that chemo"therapy" and radiation do not, in the great majority of cases, provide a cure, or even significant remission time. And of course, the side-effects and the permanent after-effects can be anything from annoying to horrendous. No, there are no guarantees. But I believe that someone like your wife, who is savvy enough, self-assertive enough and independent enough to see through the doctors' offers of surgery, chemo"therapy" and radiation, has a tremendously strong chance of getting rid of the cancer. I wish I had been savvy enough to refuse chemo"therapy" when I was first diagnosed with low-grade lymphoma in 1989. May I recommend another excellent book your wife might enjoy and get strength from? It is called "Cancer As A Turning Point," by Lawrence LeShan. I feel it is a good spiritual/emotional/mental adjunct to the Budwig Protocol. You should be able to purchase a good used copy at www.half.com. Or if there is not a copy available there, try www.bestbookbuys.com. Also, if you will go back through some of the most recent messages, you will find good stuff about lymphatic cleansing and drainage that would be very good for your wife. Karl, it is my belief that the first significant step toward healing from cancer is when someone with the dis-ease,(I spell the word "dis- ease" so as to give it back its original meaning = "lack of ease"), decides, as your wife has, to take control of their own treatment. Incidentally, in my opinion, she is going about her treatment options in the best way. The great majority of people, because of pressure from doctors, family and friends, try surgery, chemo"therapy" or radiation first, and then if that does not work, they try other healing methods. (I believe Dr. Budwig treated many people with advanced cancer, in whom surgery, radiation and chemo"therapy" had failed.) But since surgery is so invasive, and can spread the cancer, and since surgery, radiation and chemo"therapy" ravage the immune system and have side effects and permanent effects that can be anything from annoying to horrendous, THOSE are the options, in my opinion, that should be reserved for a last resort! (You can read, also in the files section, and article by Ralph Moss about the serious side-effects and permanent effects of chemo"therapy" and radiation. God bless you and your wife, Elliot |
