Sulfur protein content

Jon Palmer

Hello to all:

Does anyone know if Dr. Budwig ever used goat's milk products instead of
cow's milk? Also, does anyone know the sulfur protein (meth/cyst) of goat's
milk to possibly use as a thinner to the fo/cc mix for a change of taste?
Thanks.

Cordially,
Jon

Jon,
I don't remember reading that Dr.Budwig used goat milk products. The
problem with goat milk and goat milk products is that they are
relatively high in fat content. I have not seen low fat goat milk being
sold. That may have to do with the smaller fat globules in goat milk as
compared to cow milk. Goat milk fat does not separate as cow milk fat
does as you may know. That doesn't mean that you can not use them. Using
a bit of goat milk as a thinner for your fo/cc should not increase the
fat content by much on the overall. Here are the meth/cyst comparisions:

Milk, cow 1% fat - 0.113 g meth/cyst per 100 g
Milk, goat 4% fat - 0.126 g meth/cyst per 100 g

I don't know how much it will change the taste though. I believe that
fruits, spices, etc. are much more effective in changing the taste of
your fo/cc. Wilhelm
