Benny and The Jet
开云体育Hi -
my name is Ben Blanton.
?
I just
signed on to the group yesterday. Briefly, I was diagnosed with colon
cancer?4 years ago and went through 8 months of chemo. Everything went well
until August of this year, when at 52, it was discovered that it had moved into
the lymph nodes between my lungs, and on to my brain. In late Aug., the tumor
was removed from my brain and I was told that if I didn't go on chemo/radiation
I would probably die within a year. I chose NOT to do their poisons when I
discovered flax oil/ cottage cheese - in about 10 days, 4 different people told
me about fo/cc and I began taking it on Sept.4th - I had a ct-scan just last
week which showed that the nodes had shrunk since the last scan in Aug.!
?
I was wondering, however, if any of you have ever heard
of another alternative that I have begun - it's about high acidity (cancer) in
the body vs.. high alkalinity (cancer free) in the body - the gist of it is that
cancer in a high ph body?can not survive - below is a link that explains it
better, somewhat long, but well worth the read
-
?
?
I will be interested in your comments on this -

list. I currently am using 3000 mgs of Beta Glucan a day and 9000 mgs of time release vitamin C. I think I should be using Ester C and am going to as soon as the present supply runs out. I should know in a couple of days if this has had an effect on my PSA. Cliff Hi Cliff, the only published information I have read to support your suggestion, is that boosting the immune system through use of medicinal mushrooms or yeast beta glucan,. quickly depletes the body of Vitamin C. Once Vitamin C is depleted the immune system will no longer function in an activated state. Since in order to work at maximun capcity, it needs significant quantities (gramm amounts) of Vitamin C daily. Sure the average daily requirement for Vitamin C may be only 50 or 100 milligramms. But thats when the immune system is not activated. Once activated, many gramms a day of Vitamin C can be utilized by the immune system. If you dont get that extra Vitamin C, then the beta glucan will be alomst useless and the body will not respond. Taking glucan without Vitamin C is a waste of time and money. Research suggests glucan derived from medicinal mushrooms may benefit from Vitamin C even more than yeast glucan, through breaking up long molecules and assisting assimilation. If you dont take Vitamin C, and have a break from glucan therapy, then after some time the vitamin C supply in the body will be restored from ones diet. Then after a break, the glucan will be effective again for a day or two, untill all the Vitamin C is again depleted in the body and the glucan again stops working. moonbeam -----Original Message-----

Dr. Borman is on the Flax oil list but may not have had time to switch to the new address. I am sure she wil not mind if I post a letter to me some time ago t hat says it all. Dear Cliff: Hi Cliff. I'm so sad to hear of your ordeal with prostate CA. I think what you're doing is teriffic. Thank God for your progress. We originally opened our clinic in TJ in 1992 to treat specifically prostate CA with Hyperthermia (without chemo or radiation). We still treat a large number of prostate patients since that was one of Dr. Freeman's specialities. Yes, glucans + flaxseed oil is excellent. Add some Enzymes when needed and you've got a great combination. I have put the link to my website up for you to peruse. Simply go to the Products site and choose what you want to order. Go to the order page, printit off and fill it out and fax it over with a credit card and we'll ship out. I have Betacan(tm) 500 in stock (encapsulated pure glucan powder) or just the raw powder itself. Most people prefer the encapsulated stuff. Dr. Bormann Mailing address Arrowhead Health Works Carolyn Boreman, N. D., C. P. PO Box 950 Twin Peaks CA 92391 phone 909 338 3533 Fax 909 338 7343 OK...to answer your questions...yes, glucan is a "must have" for cancer patients. Here's some copy off my website: WHAT DOES IT DO AND WHAT IS IT USED FOR? Basically, what glucans seem to do is to stimulate / irritate your white blood cells called Macrophages into action. There is actually beta glucan receptors displayed by immune cells that the lectin fits right into like a lock and key and switches on or activates the macrophage to do it's job...clean up. Increased macrophage activity triggers a whole cascade of immune events, which basically boost immune response, which improves Natural Host Resistance. However, RESPONSE IS RECEPTOR MEDIATED (in other words, if the macrophage in the gut peritoneal lining lymphatics is not displaying a receptor site for glucan or they're blocked by other lectins, then the glucan simply passes by and is excreted). There is no danger we know of for causing excessive macrophage activity and damage the immune response, or creating an autoimmune condition. Primarily glucan is used to add immunological punch to products to address the ever increasing incidence of chronic infections, inflammations (arthritis), and other immune stressing things like allergies, poor diet, bad work habits, etc. It is used extensively in the veterinarian industry, fishing industry, and skin care. Recently it is crossing over into human nutrition. It is proven beneficial for conditions related to immunity. available: This product is important to keep Host Resistance at optimal levels. It is an excellent antioxidant / free radical scavenger and especially beneficial for those undergoing treatment for immune-related conditions such as cancer, AIDS, CFIDS, or other infections. It is also a good preventative and booster for the average person wanting to strengthen their resistance. In terms of dosage for beta glucan, it's usually figured at a min. of 10mg./kilo of bodyweight per dose...caps are taken at bedtime and upon rising on an empty stomach. I usually have our cancer patients taking 2 caps twice daily and then we do a darkfield microscopy to see how their macrophages seem to be doing. Some patients who are early on in their cancer have intact immune system function and only need 1 cap twice daily...some only need 1 cap at bedtime 4 times a week...it depends on the case. I'd love to private label it for you if you want for your site...very low minimums since I control the entire process from manufacture right through to packaging. Tell me the best way I can help you reach your goal...you can feel free to take anything in terms of copy from my website materials also. I've had alot of experience in this arena so I'll be glad to be of service... Carolyn Bormann, N.D.,C.P. -----Original Message-----

rebounder
Cliff Beckwith
The Rebounder
There is a weapon that can be use against cancer, according to Al Carter, that has some real validity. Briefly, the fact is that the lymphatic system is where the disease fighters are. As I understand it, there is three times the amount of fluid in the lymphatic system than there is blood. The blood has a "pump" which is the heart to keep it moving. The lymph system has no pump but moves through a system of one way valves that open to let fluid through and then closes to prevent it going back. The T, or killer, cells are in the lymph nodes and as the lymph flows through the lymph glands the T cells can do their work. It is more complicated than that but that is a rough summarization. For a lot better explanation read Al Carter's book, "The Cancer Answer". It is available at Al Carter's business at 1 888 464 5867. He also has a web site at www.healthbounce.com. The rebounder is a 42 inch trampoline, heavily sprung, that one stands on and gently bounces. He also has an excellent video, entitled "The Immune System". There seems to be evidence that a strong immune system can help fight cancer. By "bouncing", not jumping, on the rebounder, the lymphatic system can be moved about 30 times faster than normal. The stronger the "bounce", the more rapidly the lymphatic system moved. When I first was diagnosed with stage four cancer in January of 1991 I learned of the rebounder through the video and got one. I figured that if I lived five extra days by using it I could pay for it with my extra retirement and it would be free in the end. Other companies have trampolines this size as well. I am not an agent for anyone; I am simply trying to help get the word out. I used mine faithfully for about four years and then gradually it got neglected. Now I am using it again. THIS MESSAGE RECENTLY RECEIVED ON FLAXSEED OIL SITE Al Carter wrote: We have several people who have prostate cancer who are rebounding to overcome Cancer. the formula is simple. 1. Drink pleanty of water before your rebound. 2. Rebound vigorusly for one minute every hour on the hour. One minute of extremely hard exercise will increase the number of white blood cells in your blood stream by between 3 to 5 times. At the end of one hour the white blood count is usually back to normal. This is why it is impotant to rebound again, and again. Al Carter |

Prostate Caancer
Cliff Beckwith
Hi,
Prostate Cancer is the best kind of cancer to have if you have to have cancer. Normally, it is slow developing. I do not know that anyone really knows the cause. My doctor told me that some men will have it by 40. As the age group increases the percentage of men with PCa in each group also increases. He said that by the time a man is 85 he would gurantee that he had it. Many, if not most, men die with it and never know it. If caught early, it is one of the easiest to fight with standard methods. Once it is advanced, it is considered incurable. Mine was advanced before it was diagnosed. My brother had a situation even more advanced at diagnosis. It is very complicated problem. There are at least 30 different strains, all of which react differently to any treatment approach. Most are slow developing; a few are very aggressive. With advanced PCa the main standard treatment is Hormone therapy. This prevents the production of Testosterone which does not cause PCa but once it is there it is like throwing gasoline on a fire. This works for a while but is not a cure. Some strains are not affected by a lack of Testosterone. I am close to 11 years now since diagnosis. The use of Flaxseed oil, and now Beta Glucan and high vitamin C plus the rebounder are now the main weapons I am using, plus anti oxidants and other things recommended by Moonbeam on another list. I seem to be in no danger. I am awaiting a PSA result with some trepidition and rising heart beat. Ha! Except it isn't funny. One man I met on the PCa lists fought PCa with advanced bone involvement for over 15 years with every new chemo or idea that he could find. He used Flax Oil for awhile and it seemed to help but he did not stay with it. I don't know if he is still living, but I doubt it. If he is it is the very last stages. Cliff |
flaxseed and prostate cancer

开云体育Hello,? I may have posted this question before, but it
might have been to the other group or I didn't get any answers that satisfied
me.? I have advanced prostate cancer with bone mets.? I was taking
ground and flaxseed oil for about 3 months when someone in authority told me to
stop.? He said that Flaxseed oil and cottage cheese are good for many
cancers, but not prostate.? Are there any prostate cancer patients out
there who have gotten good results from flax oil or wheat?? He said the
wheat is o.k. because it would be hard to get enough to hurt myself.?

My
question, which I've wondered about for some time, is why now are we able to
detect how many men are getting this and dying from it? Is it maybe a factual
that it has always been a number one killer lets say back in maybe BC/AD to now,
but because of science documentations we never heard about it until recent
years?
?
I can remember when my father was living,
sometime in the 1950's, the men would talk about this subject using other words,
that are not fit to put out to public, but they children and women, ( only
wives, were to discuss the issue) Luckily my father didn't have it, but was
getting to the age where we were sure sooner or later it was bound to happen (
maybe ) If he worried about it, he never let on.The Doctor checked often to make
sure he didn't have it. I remember once he said he lost his_____pride more than
once. And he picked his doctors' with caution.
???? Going back to
Doctor Budwig..if she was allowed to again today make medical statements not
getting into high-water, and given the chance to prove herself,..we'd have a
book-of-Books, written on Flaxseed and all its' good uses, not just sticking to
one thing alone the oil, but that would be one important issue. Possibly half
the book. I believe that if she was younger and knows what she knows today this
lady would really be able to promote all her services' with even her now enemies
turned good in helping her out. One can not fight a cause alone, without
supporters to back you up.
?
True we need more documentation even on
these groups..and gradually..( now hold on your pants', but it is happening a
little by little)..Take Cliff and a few other men on this group, they are doing
all they are able..when they are gone to their final rewards, Mel asked me this
the other day. ARE we , those of us left going to say.." Oh yeah____died of that
)(*)(*(&^ PC-hope despise, sure aren't what he cracked it up to be is it?"
or are we that are still living if the good Lord Tarries this long, going to be
able toe say' " Ah shucks, let me take off where________left off and, let me
find some scientist that will put some extra effort of his own time into this
study. Because one day we will have a big-break through." Then we can make a
plaque for all the _____that had fought the first pioneer-Flaxseed and OIL
battles."

Freshly ground flax seed or flax seed oil?
Lorenzo
This is slightly controversial. Historically; ground flaxseed was includedWhich is a better source - freshly ground flax seed or flax seed oil? in baked goods. Dr. B had good results with the oil for sick persons. The oil would appear important along with Cottage Cheese for treating diseases of malnutrition. Recent research reports show that it is very difficult to get enough Omega 3 in our diet- especially as our farm animals are fed a great deal of grain; Which is not a natural food for them. Therefore I suggest eating some flaxseed or the oil daily. Recently we put ground flaxseed in our Oatmeal cookies- we never put the white flour or sugar in them; but use bananas or applesauce for sweetening. The flaxseed improved the flavor. Then we made whole wheat yeast pancakes; except one day we used whole rye flour, and ground flax seed; no wheat flour, they were very tasty. Flaxseed in the eyes
Miz Judy & Mel
开云体育I'm not sure Melanie, but maybe the burning was
that the eyes were so very irritable and like any sore it had to heal, before it
got better. I know the first time I tried it in my eyes I had been rubbing them
a long time and that most likely irritated, so that when I used the flaxseed
oil, it smarted, but within a matter of a day, the sting was gone. I used it all
day yesterday, and just about ready here to use it again to day. But I think I'd
prefer the golden ..especially for the eyes.

开云体育And Esther, I will keep you posted on how my elderly neighbor isdoing with
the flax oil in her eyes for maculare degeneration, too. I do have to tell you
all that after she was taking it, before I told her about putting it directly
into her eyes, she came to me one day and said that her eyes had been itching
like crazy since she started taking the flax oil. I have heard testimonies from
others about how a certain part of your body that you had been having problems
with got worse when they started taking the flax oil, then suddenly got much
better. I'm hoping this is the case with Marie. The first time I told her to put
it into her eyes, she did, then told me later how she did not like it, she said
she could NOT see anything, and it felt like it had taken a layer of something
off her eyes. She had not understood when I told her to lie down after she put
it into her eyes, she gets confused easily. But, now it's all better and she is
using it both ways, internally and in her eyes. I can't wait to see how she's
doing. I'll let you all know as soon as I know something.
