Hi friends,
Just a quick update. I have got advanced GIST , been on BD for about 7 weeks before my first CT scan, all tumours are significantly shrinking in size and density and I feel great. The oncologist was pleasantly surprised and just said keep doing what you have been doing!!! I must say I was on combine orthodox and on BD protocol. I know that Dr B didn¡¯t like that approach but not brave enough to do only BP.? Cheers
Goran

Re: making quark from goat milk
And, of course, people have had success with cottage cheese which is quite different from Dr B's quark.

Dr. B was vegan and didn't want to incorporate any more animal fat than necessary. The important thing is the protein level, there is a minimum but no maximum. The protocol also calls for organic cottage cheese, but myself and several others here have proven that to be unnecessary as well. I used low fat as well as full fat, whatever was available, none of it organic and I healed stage 4 lung cancer.
I see people claiming that the order in which the ingredients are mixed matters, which I also proved to be false because I just put it all in a tall beaker and mixed it up with the hand blender.
A few more grams of animal fat isn't going to make or break the results. Protein is what matters.

No, Dr. Budwig explains everything in her books, namely "Krebs" and "Der Tod des Tumors: Band 1 und Band 2". In order to transport, access and assimilate the oil/oxygen, the quark/cottage vehicle must be very low in fat.
And that's it.

Honestly, the fat content is a minor detail. If all you can get is full fat, it will still work for the protocol.

Hi Catherine,?
I just wanted to point out to many of the members of this site that both Dr. Budwig and the Budwig Center have always insisted on using quark or cottage cheese with a maximum of 2% fat. The rest doesn't work. If it doesn't exist in your country or region, then get together and import it from abroad under good refrigeration conditions. Alternatively, hire a dairy company to place your orders regularly. Any dairy company can make quark or cottage cheese at 2% or even less.

Re: making quark from goat milk
I concur with Rod in this. I have used full fat, low fat and even extra creamy cottage cheese for making the protocol for now seven years! This protocol resolved my husband¡¯s stage 4 laryngeal cancer. ?The important thing is to use it.? And follow the diet. It works. Eat the veggies, fruit, seeds, nuts, and ?the herbs.?

Glad to read of another disease that can be treated with the protocol. GIST isn't a malignancy like cancer, but I can see how it would cross over. Diabetes, arthritis, many other issues have been healed by accident while people were treating cancer with Budwig. Hope it continues well, friend.

It is GIST ( gastrointestinal stromal tumor) very rare kind of cancer, stage 4 . The classification is a bit different than the ¡°normal ¡° cancer. It is kind of chronic condition as long as pills are working. No classic chemotherapy or radiation, just target medication for a cancer cells. So I combine conventional treatments with the BP. Not brave enough to go on BP only, but trying to be?truthful to it as much as possible. So far so good.

The only thing I didn¡¯t exclude is animal proteins- once daily though for dinner only. Lost ?5-6 kg , sorted out my high blood pressure and feel 10 years younger.
