Re: Fear of doing the Budwig Diet only.

Rhoda Mead

When I first started BP, I got a whole lot of very strange looks. But I had
nothing to lose because my second course of chemo didn't put me into
remission. My family understood very well indeed that if this didn't work, I
had no good options. But no one wanted to know what I'm doing.
Now that both I and my husband are thriving, most of my friends and
relatives are curious about what I'm doing, and how to start. None have
cancer, but we are all in our 60's and 70's, so have degenerative diseases.

THanks Rivkah. I drink the outlined Veggie juice every day and drink Green Tea ALL day throughout the day.

Although there is no way of knowing, it is my thought that the BP may
have done well with the lung, and suspicious spots on the liver, lymph
and adrenal - but it was the returning brain tumor that was too much?
She showed no external symptoms in her body.

In Navarro HCG results we had a '57' right after the surgery followed
by another '57' 6 weeks later and the final one last week of '56'. So
this showed no evidence of increase.

She/we have spent our lifetimes focusing and trying to avoid all
things which might lead to illness. She had not been to

lived life on her terms, and that is the way she wanted it.

I take Doctor's Best Serrapeptase 40,000 units per veggie cap, 2 once a day away from food because I do not use it to digest food. The ingred says vegetarian capsule (cellulose, water) enteric coating.

Barbara, it is my belief that digestive enzymes are very good
during the cancer curing protocol. I've been taking Vitalzym on and
off for a while (it contains several good ones like Protease,
Serrapeptase, amylase, lipase etc) and just ordered some Serrapeptase, Bromelain and Papain. I have this feeling that the enzymes are helping me more then any other supplements I've tried, they are the only ones I'm planning to continue. .........

Dear Ben,

I am so sorry for your loss. At least she was not in pain or nauseous as you have shared. I would imagine that it was a very peaceful transition. My heart goes out to you in your grief. I will not pretend to know what you are feeling as I have not been through what you have. I can only tell you that in my mind, you and your lovely wife are surrounded by Light and Love and Peace and Beauty and Grace Everlasting. My condolences.

Wow, I had no idea the calorie count was so high. When I started
eating raw over 2 years ago, i lost a lot of weight(was 70lbs
overweight) even though I ate a lot of nuts. Now I am doing the BP,
and have less of an appetite, so I eat less nuts. I don't drink the
wine and will not since I have liver disease and cannot believe that
it won't hurt me. I use stevia or agave instead of honey and don't
eat grains unless sprouted.Everyone is different so I don't presume
to advise you, but one thing that should help is to increase green
juices and drink green tea.
Good luck to you,

With hindsight I now wish we at least had had scans maybe 2 months

been eligible for non-invasive radiosurgery such as `gamma knife'.
(the oncologist in March had told us while we were in the ICU that
she needed whole brain radiation and this might give an average 4-6
months to live while without averages were more like 2-3 months!). My
current thinking is that we needed the new tumor dealt with to give
us more time for overcoming the cancer.

Re: BP and Warfarin

Ilona Wright

Hi all,
Is anyone on this list taking Warfarin; blood thinning medication?
I was wondering how the BP effects your Warfarin levels?

My husband went off all medication, about 2 months ago, that had been
prescribed to him by a naturopath and now is only on Warfarin and Lipitor
(for cholesterol). The doctor told him yesterday that his liver was
processing the Warfarin. That means that his liver function has improved and
to us this is great news. I am hoping that eventually he can get off the
Lipitor as well. My husband has a metalic heart valve.

I was just wondering if as your health improves and organ function improves
on the BP, would the Warfarin levels keep increasing?
Thank you

Suzette Re: Introduction

Welcome.

While I am sorry to hear about your brother, I hope that you and he can take solace in knowing that MANY MANY people have recovered fully and totally by using this protocol. And yes, even those who were labelled "terminal" and given just weeks or days to live.
Johanna Budwig used to go into hospitals and carry people out, off their death-beds and get them well again. To help in the HOPE category, I suggest that you read the folder

*"Some of Our Many Testimonials of Healing". These testimonials are found in the Folder titled "FSO2 Folder 1 - Introduction -Please READ THIS FIRST" in the "FILES" section of this site.

As far as the diet goes, you will find all you need to know about the details in the following folders. Please take the time to read each one. They are not that long and won't take that much of you time to read . And I suggest you do it in the order that I list them.

"FSO2 Folder 1 - Introduction -Please READ THIS FIRST"
#1 "Introduction to the Budwig Protocol-Must Read"
#2 "Some of Our Many Testimonials of Healing"

"FSO2 Folder 3 - Budwig Diet"
#3 "1 - Transition Diet"
#4 "2 - Flaxseed oil - Quark (CC) mixture"
#5 "4a - Budwig Diet Outline"
#6 "8 - Outline of Budwig Diet Liquified"

I hope you find what you are looking for on this site. The testimonials in the folders are REAL and many of them were written by people who communicate on this site every day.
People who have cancer CAN and DO recover. All the emotional and logistical support you need, you will find here. Welcome once again. Much Peace and Love and Light to you and
your brother on this journey.

-put this mixture in a large glass jar
-shred half of a peeled pineapple in the mixer and add to the jar
-add water to fill jar to the top
-add 2 tbls. of sea salt and stir.
I have used a cloth covering or a lid. It does not seem to make a

I taste it to taste the sourness. I have found out that it is ready

sour it gets. this make a large batch of juice which is fine for me

kraut is ready I scoop all the juice out of the jar and put them in

taste the mixture, just dump it and start a new batch. the jar that I
use has a large mouth about 7" in diameter it comes with a lid. some
people do not stirr the mix and still is ok the cabbage has to ferment

the cabbage solids you press in the juicer

Re: Lymph nodes

Steve:

This is very interesting as I had mono as a highschooler. I developed NHL follicar, small cleaved cells in 1998.......did no treatment but alternative. The nodes melted away.

BUT devloped BC in 2003 and 2006 - my oncologists see this as a depressed immune system which can not fight off cancer. Hummm

After 10 years without a node, I have one that appeared on my neck, small but it is there. before going into panick mode, I will have a root canalled tooth checked, which is right above it, first. I have a strong feeling that something is brewing under the capped tooth.

Looking back, I think my cancers were brought on by humongous amounts of stress over the course of many years which totally depleted my body of defense mechanisms.

It probably is quite more complicated than this; however, stress is what I am trying to minimize with great difficulty.

"steve_lmcs" wrote:

Hi Janet
The answer is yes. I've been told there's a link (whatever that means) between epstein-barr virus (mono) and the lymphoma I have - follicular center cell NHL. In high school, i had two long bouts with mono and my neck lymph nodes were like golf balls - much, much larger than they are now. i dont think i had the lymphoma in high school though. Many conditions can bring on swollen "glands" such as the flu and other infections. The only way to know whats in the node is a biopsy. In many lymphomas, recent research has shown that the "microenvinonment" within in each node can and does vary. Hence, biopsies dont always provide useful info of whats going on in the whole body, just whats going on in that particular lymph node. me personally, i've declined biopsies and bone marrow extractions.
