Dr Budwig's book-Wilhelm and anyone

Delano Eaton

Wilhelm,
On the back of Dr. Budwig's book, Flax Oil As A True Aid Against
Arthritis, Heart Infarction, Cancer And Other Diseases, there are 6
bullets or info about what is answered in the book. The last one
reads: Discover Why The Living Body May Lack The Ability To Assimilate
Fat And How You Can Change It.

The book was hard reading for me and I never found the answer. Can you
tell me the answer?

Thanks,
Del

Hi,

Thanks for the suggestions. I am not going to use canned beans but dry
beans and prepare them ourselves.

I am particularly anxious to avoid sugar as much as possible.

Re: stopping chemo

P.s. I would be very careful with non conventional treatments. I took Royal
Tonga Limu (a brown seaweed tonic) which my cancer cells loved and excelled.
Ended up with new tumor a 6 cm tumor, after my tumors were cut out last March,
and also ended up with bone tumors in my back and hip. Please be careful,
been there, done that!!

Re: stopping chemo

I would continue with the cisplatin, I took carboplatin, which put me in
remission, Have uterine cancer stage 4, Nov 24, 1999. I would continue the
flaxseed oil regimen, and recommend you try and eat little meals. Your body needs
the food to fight back, and the body needs food to heal too.

Re: Vegetarian diet ?

Hi,

I am a vegetarian and have been one for a couple of years now. I just
thought I would make some suggestions to you from my experience as a
vegetarian.

As far as rice is concerned, if you can get Lundberg's rice, that is a
good option. All their rice is, from what I am told, organically
grown, even the rice that isn't sold as organic. As far as beans are
concerned, try to stay away from canned beans. They very often have
lots of additivies, perservatives, and the can itself leaks metals
into the beans. If you must buy canned beans, Eden organic is a good
brand, since they use enamel lining in their cans, so that the metal
does not leak.
Don't do too much pasta. That is usually how veges go wrong, and it
creates too much acidity in the body and overloads it with calories.
Last but not least, try to indulge in nuts, if you have the teeth for
it :) Nuts are a great source of everything, protein, fat, carbs, what
have you. Usually you can buy them unprocessed and raw, which is also
a great improvement over TV dinners and such :)
There is a nice product called Sunshine burger, that has lots of
sunflower seeds mixed with brown rice. They are quite tasty, imho.

Bon apetit,
Simon

of beans, Navy, Pinto, Great Northern, or whatever and brown rice will
provide complete nutrition.

Yesterday my wife and I stocked up on various brands of beans and brown
rice and will be including that in our diets.

I do know that the Japanese army did quite well on a diet of rice for
breakfast, dinner and supper. They weren't talking about the polished
white starch that we call rice.

I would surely consider this as the main base of any vegetarian diet
for
myself.

Hi Bori, I gave up all the "bad guys" in my diet about a year and a half before starting on the cc/fo diet. On Jan. 1st of 2003 I gave up caffeine, alcohol, sugar and junk cold turkey. The first month was incredibly hard. I had headaches that were unreal, low energy, and a horrible disposition. Detoxing one's body is not always a pleasant experience and certainly not without some very nasty side effects. However, after about a month my energy level was higher than ever, the headaches were gone and I hardly ever get a headache now unless under dire stress, the excess weight started falling off of me and my moods are much more stable (even during that time of the month). I am pretty sure that how you are feeling has everything to do with your body getting used to all the things you have eliminated from your life. Keep it up and soon you'll be telling us all how great you feel!!! Blessings, Cheryl

Dear Friends,

I am wondering, how long before we see any results with Budwig diet. Has anyone had the experience in which their bodies felt kind of weak almost like a low down on sugar, or like a shaky feeling while in the diet? I am wondering if this has to do with all the things I stopped eating. Can anyone tell me about their experiences as while on the budwig diet?

Thanks, Bori

Blender, Grinder & Juicer suggestions

skpound

I had read some posts earlier about what type of the 3 products to
use on Dr. Budwig's diet. I was lucky up on two of them as I had the
Braun's at home already and they do a good job and are fairly
inexpensive.

Braun Multiquick Blender $29 at Walmart -

Braun Multiquick Blender $29 (free ship) at Amazon -

I've been mixing the FO/CC with the Braun daily and it does a great
job with no mess.

Braun KSM2 Coffee Grinder $15 at Amazon -

Works for grinding the flaxseeds easily.

Omega Juicers -

This brand of juicer is the 2nd best one recommended by Dr. Lorraine
Day on her program. The "best" juicer is the Norwalk, but they are
HUGE and cost about $1500 new. Omega has been building juicers for
40 years and they come with a 10 year motor warranty. Also they're
made in the USA. They are advertised to be the quietest juicer also.
You can find various Omega juicers on Ebay from $50-100 every week.
With a 10 year motor warranty I'd feel confident in buying used.
Also filters are available on the internet, $12 for 200 that make
cleaning much easier.

Hi, I'm new here

skpound

Hi- I've been reading the group messages for about a week and wanted
to introduce myself. My name is Keith and I live in a suburb of
Richmond, Virginia. In October of 2002 I was diagnosed with cancer
of the sinus. I had a tumor at the back of my sinus that had
expanded inside my head and needed emergency treatment so it
wouldn't spread to my brain. I had radiation and chemo therapy for
about 4 months. The treatment was a bit rough physically but the
radiation did shrink the tumor and chemo was used to (hopefully)
kill the rest of it. I've been trying to recover since then. I
look "normal" now...but I dont trust that I'm fully healed.

I happened onto Dr. Budwig's data and started her diet 5 days ago
(not fully vegetarian yet). I'm also doing Dr. Lorraine Day's 10
step program. () One thing I'm very interested
in and would appreciate any suggestions is HOW to go to an all-
vegetarian diet? Are there recommended recipes, cookbooks, etc that
the members here use? I've ordered Dr. Budwig's Oil & Protein diet
book but havent received it yet. I've been a "get your protein
everyday" person and meat eater my whole life. I'd appreciate any
suggestions of how to make the switch to a vegetarian diet....and my
cooking skills are...well...not too good.

Keith

stopping chemo

Hi there, I'm new in the group,I'm a woman 50 years old with ovarian
cancer stage 4,after a bad chemo sesion with Topotecan I lost a lot
of weight and become so weak I can barely move from my bed.
Now I started a new chemo course with cisplatin which seems working
fine but I am exhausted,I have read your article regarding chemo and
I quite agree with you, I'm on Dr. Budwig diet for a month now and
I'm considering to stop all the chemo and concentrate only on the FO
diet and some additional non conventional treatments. Has anybody
advice for me? did somebody try something like that?

Thanks in advance

Hi All,

In a couple of days I'll be on my way to Merry old England, so I'll be
signing off for a couple of months. Several weeks ago I wrote to my sister
with a shopping list of stuff that I have to have to stay alive :-) I've
just heard that they've bought all my STUFF, even a new Blender (I feel so
guilty), but perhaps I'll convert my family 'over there' to a new lifestyle?
This will be the first time any of my family have seen me since I was
diagnosed with Cancer in April 1999. The last time I saw my family was at
my Mum's funeral (she died of Colon cancer).

I continue to feel incredibly healthy. I'm still in remission (nearly 5
years) from stage 1V Ovarian Cancer. I'm very lucky (and thankful!)

Take care my friends ....
Sandy Lightfoot.

This is Nedu, Do any of you guys have any news on treating
cerebellar damage with Flaxseed oil. Since Omega 3 is good for the

Hi Nedu, what kind of cerebellar damage do you have? All I can quote to you for now is "Reported successes [of Budwig protocol] include: steady recovery, tumours excreted even from brain, pain reduction without noxious painkillers, all lymphnodes and skin metastases receding, cancer healed in 90% of cases (accord. to Prof. Brkki Halme)"... Personally, I have the impression that the brain is one of the foremost organs to suffer from omega3 deprivation and bad fat overload...

Any contra effects if excess is taken, say 5 or 6 table spoons a day.
This has been discussed a few times, it seems the body can use to advantage quite a lot of flaxoil if properly mixed with sulfurated proteins (organic cottage cheese/quark)...

Re: Budwig protocol and Pau d'arco tea..??

Wilhelm Hansen

I don't know how long it takes fo/cc to go through the digestive process and be available to the system. That would probably be different from person to person. Two hours could be about right.

mabe the pau tea cant penetrate the blood brain barrier and the fo/cc
can. I dont know? I'm going to continue on both. Does fo/cc take a
while to process in the system? If so, I'll wait a couple hours
before taking the pau tea.
