Do we all know this:

Grant Showbiz talks about a version of Imperial Wax Solvent that never saw the light of day but which he thinks is much better than the released version.

It circulated among collectors for a long time and was released officially last year on Cherry Red

I swiped through the doc looking for the Showbiz bits re Imperial Wax Solvent and unfortunately landed on a brief interlude with Thurston Moore. I had to close my browser. The pretentious pontificating of that pedantic post-punk pantload has ruined more music docs than Bono.

If your rock doc needs saltpeter, just add Thurston Moore.

Tosser.

But I am curious about our missing Showbiz sessions. Which is to say: Thanks for the link, Adam. I'll look at it again after my blood pressure deflates. Cheers.

tl;dr: Thurston Moore has a most punchable face.

Okay. Warts and all, this is a very charming documentary.

Better than the new Suzi Quarto and ZZ Top hagiographies on the sundry streaming services, certainly.
