Doc Al in Audible Discountment Not-Really-Shocker

I note that Eversion is Audible¡¯s Daily Deal today (for some values of ¡°today,¡± & some values of US-only possibly). It¡¯s practically a short story, in the Reynoldsian oeuvre, but still seems well worf it!

Thanks Pat!

I think I smuggled a "prickly line of sweat" into this one!

Ha, that *is* both big & clever!

Myers does a great job with the Yorkshire accent, but?doesnt do any West Country for the narrator. That woulda been nice, kinda bringing things full circle with a frisson of Arthur C. Clarke. #CanWeRarelyBelieveIt?

Some feedback for Astro Al:
?
I'm downsizing and on Sunday offered my brother a paperback copy of Revelation Space (I think ... can confirm later, if necessary)
?
He declined with the words, and I quote, "No, I only read in the Sauna"
?
He did take the PG Wodehouse and Spike MiIligan books though.
?
I hope your marketing team can make some use of this data.
?
Bill
?
?
?
?

RevSpace would quite quickly swell to three times the size there. I fancy cryptic crosswords in the sauna myself, Although my current Kindle is waterproof.

Just finished 'On the Steel Breeze' last week by the way.

Eversion is my first Astro-Al read and I am enjoying it thoroughly.
