Re: Hello'een
I used to have a web site that resembled that t-shirt ;)
Hello all! David Bivins here. Looks like I have some catching up to do. Still in Brooklyn, but now with a child and a mortgage, etc. Rich, I believe I still owe you a 7" record. Feel free to send my your postal address and I'll get it to you posthaste. I'm not kidding when I say that I feel guilty every time I stumble over that record. |

Re: So, anyway...
¿ªÔÆÌåÓýLive memories are mostly with youse all. ? London gigs, deconsecrated church halls and night clubs, an art gallery for Fall Covers band in San Francisco. BUT Last time I saw em was in wEllington on that last jaunt down here. Which was very interesting because all of my memories are entwined, with experiencing it and regurgitating it, with locals who have a mental version of The Fall Gruppe that is informed by the cartoon commentary that was mostly widely spread into the fairly interested media levels of rock journalism.?Pissed his pants at Glastonbury, forked a journo, left teeth in Badly Drawn glove compartment, irrational dictatorial man manager, speed freak wino etc.... They considered it a side show over the years but this from people who almost to a (wo)man kept half an eye on The Gruppe due to having experienced the 82 band and still considered it one of the best live acts they ever saw. Jeremy and Steve at Slow Boat Records still call me Steve E Dean. They identify us by this association, fall fan is our culture. And though they had been good in Dorkland a day or two before, in Wellington they were f*cking superb.. stve On 7/11/2020, at 5:17 AM, oliver.czoske@... wrote:

Re: Deltic Balti ....
That was a great few days for me in NYC '98, meeting Fallnetters before the first Coney Island High gig. First night's gig itself was subpar, but the next night was very good. Biv was with us but I've lost track of him, and also of Peter Messian (sp?). I'm still in touch with Michael Pinto, Tony Arena (anonyrena), Hilda, David Plunkett, Eliot Van Buskirk, Mark Desrosiers, Jonathan Kandell, and a few others, though. Sent a message to Chris Kovin via Instagram but didn't get a response. As someone mentioned, Brent Colyer's no longer with us :( .? Great to see you back on Fallnet OBG! Not sure where people got the idea that Fallnet died, it just slowed down to a crawl for a few years. Stefan On Fri, Nov 6, 2020 at 12:16 PM olderbrothergert <harrygrimes@...> wrote:

Just strap here to a chair and play 10 hours of Afro-Ibis Man. That'll do the trick.

Greets Toby, and all the others I have missed over the years. The email address has changed several times since the old list collapsed. But I did re-adopt the obg moniker here since that's likely how most people remember me.
