Sent this to the wrong email group.?? Hi everybody,
I'm very happy with how things went on Saturday. We have 37 form letters signed and ready to go. That's one letter every 6 1/2 minutes! Fantastic.?
It would never have happened without Patti, who presented the idea, supplied some of the materials, and demonstrated the process with enthusiasm.
I am grateful to her as well as to Andrea, Jen Smith, Greg Cook and Rhonda Connell, who all came by and helped out.
Now, can we do this in other towns and cities?
The Fredericton market was a proof of concept. I think it went very well and demonstrated that people care more about?municipal reform than some of us may have thought. Does anyone want to do something similar in their own city?
It would be great to have a table in Saint John, for example.
Please write back if you're willing to give it a try. Patti or I can explain what you need and how to go about it.
I'm holding back on mailing the letters until I find out if similar events will take place in other cities. That way, we can co-ordinate our mailing days for maximum impact.
Thanks and enjoy the beautiful day. -- Vivian Unger

Vivian - PLEASE mail the letters - don't
hold off on them.? Maybe 20 the first day, and two days later, the other 17.?
Then if it happens in another venue, you can do the same.? I think getting 20
snail mail letters in one day will throw them for a loop.

I'm not coming. After May 15th, I think it's pretty clear I would only hold you back. You're very skilled at this sort of thing, and apparently I just suck at it. So it's better if I don't come.

Maybe 20 the first day, and two days later, the other 17.? Then if it
happens in another venue, you can do the same.? I think getting 20 snail
mail letters in one day will throw them for a loop.

Hi everybody,
I'm very happy
with how things went on Saturday. We have 37
form letters signed and ready to go. That's one letter every 6 1/2
minutes! Fantastic.?
It would never
have happened without Patti, who presented the idea, supplied some of the
materials, and demonstrated the process with enthusiasm.
I am grateful to
her as well as to Andrea, Jen Smith, Greg Cook and Rhonda Connell, who all came
by and helped out.
Now,
can we do this in other towns and cities?
The Fredericton market was a
proof of concept. I think it went very well and demonstrated that people care
more about?municipal reform than some of us may have thought. Does anyone
want to do something similar in their own city?
It would be great
to have a table in Saint John,
for example.
Please write back
if you're willing to give it a try. Patti or I can explain what you need and
how to go about it.
I'm holding back
on mailing the letters until I find out if similar events will take place in
other cities. That way, we can co-ordinate our mailing days for maximum impact.
Thanks and enjoy
the beautiful day.

It was your first time out.? You need to get your feet wet.?
But I understand if you don't feel you can.?
Could you please send me the letter in both French and English.? I
have found two volunteers.? It's still up in the air, but I will know
tomorrow.
Of course, anyone who signs up will be sent to FV4NB.? And it only
makes sense to use your letter for consistency and solidarity.
Thanks.? Looking forward to getting the final version of the
letters. letters.

I asked for volunteers on the FB group and the FB NBers for PR page,
but nobody's responded yet.
I'm not coming. After May 15th, I think it's pretty clear I would only
hold you back. You're very skilled at this sort of thing, and apparently I just
suck at it. So it's better if I don't come.

That's fantastic.
Go for it, Patti. I bet you can get more letters in Moncton
than we got in Fredericton.
