? ? ? ? ?The acft. arriving to concord at 10:30 is a Cessna 210 it is White Burgundy and Tan. Tail # N210SL. The Pilot Steve Isaacs. At 10:45 will be the 1st Missing Man Formation Flight and the Fire truck shooting off the Nozzels and Police and Fire Dept. Running their sirens making as much noise as they can and the watter Nozzels like fireworks in the sky. John Sawatzky and Doug Fitzgerald and I will eigther go up the night before or leave early to be on the 14th leg from Carson City to Mather Field Sacramento in Johns Cessna 182, We will get the Mail in Carson City and leave about 7am we will hand off the mail to Steve Isaacs at Mather to fly to Concord and I will fly chase or in the plane with Steve? The both Missing Man Formation Flights are to Honor John Davi and the Men who sacrificed themselves delivering the Mail in those early years. We have been OKed to have Concord Police and Fire Dept. and the County Fire with the water nozzels. Plan A, about 1pm I will take the mail to Martinez Harbor with favorable conditions and with the help of the Harbor Master climb aboard the DH 8, (the Original Plane was a DH 4)? Beaver Float Plane and fly near to the Marina Green Field Marina and land and either get picked up by a boat or taxi up to shore and walk up to the Marina Green Field or Plan B, at 12pm I will follow by vehicle the Bay Valley and San Francisco Post Masters to Marina Green Field to hand off the mail at 2:30pm as was done in 1920. At 2:30pm there will be the Missing Man Flight Formation again Honoring John Davi and the Pilots who gave their lives flying the mail. Hopefully the Fire Boats will be spraying their nozzels like fireworks in the sky and SF PD Boats also making Noise moving around and also the Coast Guard shooting their weapons and of course (blanks)all this at the moment of hand off all captured by Photo's and Video.
